most white people do not speak english as their first language, which means even fewer will be able to read this, among native and esl as well as those who dont speak it all.

I actually miss this gimmick being more common. Having to translate runes in Ultima was fun, even if it was probably meant as a copy protection scheme since you needed the manual for reference.

Dear sir, you have transcribed our alphabet, which you think might be of service to us, you wish to aquire an accurate pronunciation, if that could be focused, but you see many inconveniences as well as difficulties that would attend in bringing our letters and autography into common use,
all our etimologies would be lost, consequently, we could not ascertain his meaning of many words; his distinction too, between many words of different meaning and similar sound would be useless
unless you living writers publish new ideoforms?, in fact, you believe you must let people spell and hear old ue?, and (as we find it easiest) so it seems ourselves

I might be moronic, what's you homies take on the parts i've probably gotten wrong

yea probably right, I think if I ask my brain to do shit like this it burns out pretty quick and holds my cognitive faculties ransom for stimulants. I learned more about myself than whatever the topic of the letter was honestly.

I have transcribed your alphabet etc. which I think might be of service to those who wish to acquire an accurate pronunciation, if that could be fixed; but I see many inconveniences, as well as difficulties, that would attend the bringing our letters and orthography into common use. All our etymologies would be lost, consequently you could not ascertain the meaning of many words; the distinction, too, between words of different meaning and similar sound would be useless, unless you living writers publish new editions. In that I believe you must let people spell on in their old way, and (as you find it easiest) do the same ourselves.

      Dear Sir,
I have transcribed your alphabet, etc. which I think might be of service to those, who wish to acquire an accurate pronunciation, if that could be fix'd; but I see many inconveniences, as well as difficulties, that would attend the bringing your letters and orthography into common use. All our etymologies would be lost, consequently we could not ascertain the meaning of many words; the distinction, too, between words of different meaning and similar sound would be useless, unless we living writers publish new editions. In short I believe we must let people spell on in their old way, and (as we find it easiest) do the same ourselves.
