Honeydew shop keepers mogs them all with zero diff.
Honestly it's not even a competition, all cerbo has is her bot and all Martlet has is the ability to groom children.
I like to think it's his brother who is the space enjoyer since Starlo leaves to live with the feisty in his own home and his parents mention they don't see him as much. Starlo also end up cleaning Ceroba's home for Kanako's come back while his brother kept the room with broken planks and corn crumbs all over
They all come from one mod that targets every character, not just her. And Tardfoxgays have been getting this treatment ever since the game came out, so welcome to the club.
You remind me of that rabbit from the dunes. She was funny, both in design and personality, not really waifu material... but yeah, funny like in "haha, she has a funny face"
we ran out of stuff to discuss about the gameplay, unlike undertale the story is pretty straightfoward and there's no big mysteries in the fun values or some mystery man.
But this is still way better than /utg/, although the bastards who migrated from there aren't helping. They move here because this is a nicer place while somehow unaware they are the reason the other place sucks.
I wish UTY had more side content to talk about, or interesting mechanics. But it's a simple game.
Hug Ceroba. Love Ceroba. Take Ceroba on walks through the park. Tuck Kanako into bed. Take Ceroba out for dinner. Cook Ceroba's favorite meal. Bring Ceroba to the surface. Introduce Ceroba to human food. Jump into Mt. Ebott to save Ceroba. Take Ceroba for a lovely evening drive. Help Ceroba repair her house. Lovingly hold Ceroba's head during a kiss. Help Ceroba evade the IRS. Princess carry Ceroba. Give Ceroba lots of children. Sleep in while cuddling Ceroba. Take out the trash for Ceroba. Wipe Ceroba's tears from her face. Eat Ceroba's practice cooking. Pet Ceroba. Pull Ceroba into bed. Go hiking with Ceroba. Bake birthday cakes with Ceroba. Teach Ceroba new skills. Have a large family with Ceroba. Build new bedrooms for each of your children with Ceroba. Dig your own pool in the backyard with Ceroba. Teach Ceroba how to shoot a gun. Grow old with Ceroba. Build up Ceroba's confidence. Clean Ceroba's shrine maiden outfit.
this is an azure auditorium and thus only nudes of the soul are allowed

the more I think about it, the more I realize how much of a jackass she is. her plan is basically to drag you along on a journey to break into alphys's lab, which isn't exactly easy to do. find her daughter. than kill you and somehow use your soul to bring kanako back all while not getting found out. in order to continue on her husbands work in making a boss monster army and defeat humanity. but his assessment is just a guess and very likely wouldn't work anyway
is she just moronic?
>is she just moronic?
Yes. >she pretends she's capable of repairing the Steamworks decommissioned power core, admits she had no idea what she was doing >there's a TALK dialogue in Steamworks that confirms she thinks coolant heats things up (possible joke on antifreeze?) >she forgets to pull out the robot you made for Axis the during the first encounter >during the first Axis chase sequence, she abandons Clover and runs for her life, despite not knowing where Axis would put Clover, which has the precious soul she needs >during the second Axis chase sequence where he begins shooting you, she also doesn't protect Clover's soul from damage and possibly death >says only reason she learned about colors in preschool was because she was "forced" to learn >admits that technology and her don't mix well >gets offended when the wall mounted gif says she's not smart enough to understand Steamworks >she has no tails (in folklore a greater amount of tails on a Kitsune indicates more wisdom and power) >the whole Kanako disaster
Was pacifist rushed or was she just meant to be that moronic and we are just simply baffled by her moronism, not realizing that yes. She would inject mystery serum into her kid.
She would give her kid bleach to drink if they asked nicely enough.
No doubt it suffers from being written when most of the team were still dumb kids, but they were so far into commitment by that point that any major alterations would've risked burnout and potential cancellation.
That being said, yeah, Ceroba is that moronic by default.
Kind of wish they would have only started development when they were older. Though maybe being younger was one of the reasons they were always passionate about the project and it never ended up being cancelled.

You know, the NPCs in the Mines do reflect the monotonous reality of growing up...
I get the feeling Ceroba was meant to be more of the simple and traditional girl that was clueless when it came to anything about technology or science
The rushed writing just caused this trait of hers to be dialed up into the thousands I guess
That's what I've been trying to say this whole time. She's clearly just a housewife way over her head, having this stupid burden she took from her husband out of sheer blind loyalty that fricked her own life up. Game got rushed to shit so that just gets amplified into her just being a total moron. Still a million times better than someone like Toriel.

t*riel: >smug, overbearing c**t who essentially tries to kidnap every single child that falls down into the underground, and when they try to leave lets them die >always in the right, smug as frick in every argument, nobody ever directly calls her out, only gets overthrown for sucking too much human dick in some neutral endings >actively tells children to kill others, specially asgore, when they leave her shithole >could have escorted any of the children through the underground, didn't because that would mean she'd have to do something useful instead of sitting around roleplaying as a shit mother in the ruins >shit queen that ran away from her people and has active disdain for them >shit wife that hates her husband for making one (1) mistake that she could have stopped at any point in time by just talking to him, >"DURRR JUST TAKE 1 SOUL THEN GO OUTSIDE AND ASK NICELY FOR 6 OTHER ONES/GO ON A KILLING SPREE" >even in other dimensions she's still a horrible smug c**t >fricks sans, and considering what rudy tells us about her, is a total party prostitute >death toll is at least 5 of the children who fell down after asriel died >there's nothing to fix, she's aids down to the core

I always thought it was really bad she never asked if frisk had family.
Frisk for all she knows has a very loving mom and dad.
Which is why I never choose to actually go with her.
That doesn't jibe with the rest of her writing, where she's the aloof, mature type who snarks at the silliness of all the other characters.
She wasn't intended to come across as stupid, that last flashback was placed there to give her some culpability in what happened so that the option to kill her would make sense. The devs just whiffed it so hard they dislocated their spines.

It's just classic contrivance to instigate the plot, a lot of stories fall into this trap. Remember when they almost beat Thanos in Infinity War until Starlord got really mad and had to ruin everything?
It's actually a writing achievement in of itself that Yellow at least managed to get the tone and charm of Undertale right when so many fanworks fail to do even that.

Too much of it clashes with itself

There was definitely some weird shit going on with Ceroba, she probably had a major rewrite happen mid-way through development. Original creator lost control over her or something, probably for the best.

Some of her lines definitely that way like her line to Clover about "respecting the hell out of him" but I don't think most of her behavior in the Steamworks was at odds with how she was setup, she's the only character who constantly questions and calls out the wackiness of the setting as shown in her interactions with the wall ai who grows to dislike which I thought was funny.

its almost like she's written like an OC made by a teenager who wanted her to be cool but also the writer's persona at the same time without any actual depth to any of it
None of her actual thematic aspects are used in an interesting way
Like, the whole steamworks section is actually a perfect allegory for kitsunes: She's deceiving Clover alone in an unknown dangerous place to trick them. But then its just ignored and doesn't actually go anywhere. Her aesthetics clash completely with the wild west aesthetics of both the Wild East but Undertale Yellow in general (which is fricking stupid because Cowboys and Samurai could exist in the same timeframe. YOU COULD HAVE HAD A COOL FOXGIRL WIELDING A REPEATER AND A KATANA AT THE SAME TIME). Her personality with Clover barely deals with the fact that she also had a child with the same age and she barely has any quirks relating to being a mother. It's never explained why she doesn't have a tail despite both Chujin or Kanako having one (is it because they're boss monsters and she isn't? AND WHY ARE THEY BOSS MONSTERS IN THE FIRST PLACE? AND WHY CEROBA ISN'T A BOSS MONSTER EITHER? THEY'RE THE SAME TYPE OF MONSTER).
So much of her is missed potential or unexplained and yet she consumes the oxygen of the whole pacifist ending route which makes me so fricking pissed off. Her fight is REALLY fricking cool but I can't enjoy it as much because all the issues plague my fricking mind

Ed also getting the luckiest fricking draw and uncovering the attack on titan basement while breaking in and cleaning her house is the most insane deus ex machina in that game. Ed's very emotionally aware, he's clearly uncomfortable being treated like Starlo's muscle because he's always asking Clover if they're mad at him.

This. People come up with interesting reasons why she'd act a certain way like "actually, the reason she's so negligent in the steamworks is because she's waiting for you to die so she can scoop up your soul" but everything that explains one aspect conflicts with others. She bounces from sarcastic and jokey to intensely personal to not even paying attention as you wander off. Nothing fits

Her wanting you to die but also not wanting you to die is ironically the least contradictory part of her character, that's a realistic character conflict and aligns perfectly with her presentation as someone unwilling to face the reality of her situation

>Her wanting you to die but also not wanting you to die is ironically the least contradictory part of her character, that's a realistic character conflict
The author seems conflicted in the steamworks, not the character. Ceroba gets catty and upset over petty things like steam vents and broken AIs and are the worst thing that's happened to her this month instead of the death of her only child. She dumps her life story on someone she doesn't expect to live to remember, and not just venting the negative parts on someone disposable. She clearly has a secret but it's like the author has no idea what it is yet. There's no gravitas to the imminent child murder.
There's so many ways they could have played her character. >strictly business, keep Clover at arm's length because she can't get invested >racist against the human because it's the only way to justify what she's about to do >extremely caring because she wants to make his final moments happy >excessively personal because she desperately needs someone to accept and understand her unbearable sins >spacey, constantly distracted by her inner turmoil
But they don't stick to any. Hell, she could have started acting one way and transitioned to another as she got to know him but they didn't do that either. Or even have her act clearly one way with bits of her real personality peeking through when things get dire. That's why Flowey's writing stood out: he doesn't drop his act all at once, it just slowly unravels as you needle him with your actions. Instead she's just a mess.
Anonymous
>That's why Flowey's writing stood out: he doesn't drop his act all at once
He does in the Neutral route. That was like the point of his character and role in the game, you already know what he's really like and capable of from Undertale so Yellow subverts this by having him act relatively nice and helpful throughout the game until the climax when he goes all out.
Anonymous
I think they could have tied all those neatly together, to be honest. All it would have taken is a few stray comments early on, like Starlo or some other characters saying "she hasn't exactly been herself lately" or "she's been acting a little weird since her daughter... er, never mind, that's her business not mine" or "wow, she's been strangely calm since you got here, clover, you must have a good effect on people or something!". It'd tie in well with her comments about how not sleeping properly really takes it out of you, if they just emphasized that she's not in her right mind and acting erratically
>Souls come out in one piece regardless
do they? I thought there was a sort of extraction process, in the neutral route we see all the times clover died and his soul shatters into bits and pieces when flowey kills him with the pellets he preserves the soul in one whole piece, so I figured there was some magic frickery involved for soul extraction
did I miss something?
That's just for gameplay to instantly show you "you fricked up, you lose"
If that were the case that human souls shatter on death, Asgore would have 0 souls instead of 6. It's stated somewhere that human souls are like boss monsters', but even stronger; they can persist for a fair while after death

>negligent in the steamworks
You'd think she'd be protective over you in Steamworks precisely because she needs your soul in one piece

Souls come out in one piece regardless, that's why she has the canister
The only reason she didn't just kill you the moment she had the chance is because she wouldn't want to actually go through with that herself And also because she'd be too moronic to get through on her own
5 months ago
Anonymous
Would be neat if they went all out on her trying to murder you, at the start wanting to kill you by her hand, then getting more uncomfortable with that and tries to lead you somewhere to die by someone else's hands until she actually can't bare the though of you dying and she's the last person you befriend type of thing but the relationship between you is much more meaningful.

I mean, I don't know that she'd ever want to personally kill you until you force that out of her at the end

You know what, that's actually a good point
Everything we know about souls and the backstory of the blue soul just kinda implies that they always stick around after a human's death no matter what, but we never see anything confirming that and the normal death animation does always show it as breaking in almost all contexts

It's a symptom of the larger writing problem of Yellow in that it's very straightforward with its pacing of the plot, there's little time for fluffy alone time moments with the major characters that flesh them out beyond their base personalities.
Like compare Dalv to Toriel. In Undertale, we don't just meet Toriel and immediately go to the exit the ruins, we spend some time with her solving puzzles in the ruins and her treating you in her house, so we see that beyond just being a caring goat mom, she's also overprotective to the point that some of her affectionate actions come off as somewhat awkward and creepy. Meanwhile we only run into Dalv a couple of times then immediately befriend (or kill) him, we get to see his house but that's it. Even though both characters have similar roles, Toriel has more buildup.
Another example is Starlo, we're immediately railroaded into his story about him favoring you over his other friends, training you into a deputy, and the conflict that causes but you don't really get moments of you and him just hanging out and bonding together alone, unlike say Papyrus or Undyne in Undertale. You barely have any agency in the story so when Starlo turns on you, he comes off more as a schizo butthole.
Was she? Felt like the entire point of her character was that she was the only serious straight man to contrast everyone else in the game being quirky or comedic.
Was pacifist rushed or was she just meant to be that moronic and we are just simply baffled by her moronism, not realizing that yes. She would inject mystery serum into her kid.
She would give her kid bleach to drink if they asked nicely enough.
Wasn't it in development for 7 years? There was probably a lot of rewrites throughout that time that got harder and harder to keep coherent.
It is kind of weird in hindsight cuz she's like, actually fricking moronic if you look at her behavior and dialog overall. Not figuratively speaking. It's one thing for a character to be fricking stupid, but a lot of her actions don't even make sense, like she forgets what her own motivations are and what's important to her at times.
Waifugays got too caught up in their own headcannon that she's really some helpless girl that's only distant due to her circumstances when in reality she's a legitimate piece of shit individual who wouldn't like any of them solely on the basis of humans sealing monsters underground.
>b-but le CHUDjin is at fault for that just like he was for killing Kanako!
No, you fricking morons keep characterizing Ceroba as some sort of helpless puppy that's never made a choice of her own free will when in reality even her story acknowledges the fact that she's entirely the one at fault for fricking up everything after Chujins death.
Anyone with a shred of common sense would realize how unrealistic the request of finishing the serum BY YOURSELF WHILE HAVING ZERO KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD actually is and would either leave it be and focus on preserving the kid that's now down a parent or suck up their petty grudge with the King and Royal Scientist who both literally don't even know you exist but are much better equipped to deal with the situation and try and make a plea for them to carry on the research in your place.
Tired of these gays trying to push all responsibility on the dead guy who even tried from the grave to prevent her from fricking up as hard as she did.
Chujin + Kanako because you know she would be just as pissed as he was realizing she shipped her corpse away to die in a royal infirmary instead of at least being burred alongside her father.
>Kanako is alive in amalgamate form
More headcannon, nothing in-game implies she didn't immediately fall to dust after the events of the flashback, or that she even made it to the lab before dissipating into dust.
All we know is that she was immediately put on the monsters equivalent of her last breaths.

Just like how she knew she actually perfected the serum as well as how Clovers soul would somehow magically fix Kanako when not even Frisk could people back from dead, and how only a super monster with the power of 7 human souls could partially save Asriel.

Like two people max have said this. Everyone else realizes she's a horrible person, but just like with other bad people they thing they can "fix her". Chujin blame is mostly all in jest.

she basically uses her only daughter as her first test subject for this experimental soul shit she knows nothing about. then tries to kill you because she thinks that will bring her daughter back somehow. I can understand wanting revenge on humanity for sealing monsters underground but come on.

I would concede this point but like that other guy said I unironically refuse to consider anything past the point of Clover announcing he wants to comet sudoku as actually happening, because it was COMPLETE DOGSHIT that fricked up not just Ceroba's character but everyone else present's as well. Chujin wanted a human wife to stick things up his butthole and watch Ben 10 with but he had to settle for a moronic kitsune with no tails. He copes with his sad reality claiming that he hates humans.
I appreciate the irony that Chujin, who spent his twilight years lying his ass off and covering up all his mistakes, died because he injected himself with Integrity.
Monsters are dumb >Ah yes, I will inject the soul essence of the killer child who my robot brutally killed into me >I am sure nothing bad like the soul trying to kill me out of spite will happen
Reminder that Starro and Ceroba canonically hook up after pacifist route. >childhood friends >always looking out for eachother >Ceroba fricking looses it if you kill Starro while Starro hates you if you kill Ceroba >Starro throwing a welcome back party for Kanako, cares alot for her and her mother >both characters wanted to bring happiness to all monsters in their own way
I dare you guys to try and tell me that Shitjin was a better character/husband, you can’t.
this is the best outcome for the both of them. besides, starlo is the second chance that ceroba kind of needs. maybe he can help her not be such a frickup of a mother.
>is some real turbo autism

God, she's literally me.
In 5th grade, I dressed up as the rival from Gold and Silver and had to explain it to what felt like every kid in my class plus the teacher. I never dressed up as a video game character again.
In the neutral ending, Martlet tells Clover that she was planning to use the steroids to kill Clover, before deciding to throw them away. A pacifist Clover would be able to work out that Martlet was carrying and planning to use the steroids the entire time, but ended up using them by accident.

>How dare you feel betrayed by the true pacifist ending making the monsters that Clover befriended suddenly decide to encourage Clover to kill himself? How dare you feel sad about the fact that the likeable bird woman was carrying steroids that would have turned her into the final boss of the justice route?

but why would he be sad when he just gained a sick fricking space bird mom, she used it and wouldnt even dare to hurt pacifist clover, the positives outweigh the negatives there anon

If Martlet turned herself into Zenith Martlet by accident, then she must have been carrying the steroids and planning to kill Clover the entire time, even if Clover was a pacifist. You could still have a happy ending after some angst.

When Clover realizes that even human kids like him are effectively demi-gods compared when compared to every other monsters he'd probably understand why she took the precaution.

That part of the neutral ending it's pretty moronic the more you think about. It can literally happen if Clover doesn't feel like going through Axis' BS fight and kills a soulless machine.
But it also happens if Clover has literally killed everyone BUT the robot, then Marlet is like "whatevah, let's chill in Snowdin" and tosses the serum away.
I'm using GPT-4. Don't recommend it if you can't pay the price. But it's pretty much the best thing you can use. Sometimes it'll get a lil spicy on its own as well.

Its a new drug that has already destroyed the lives of countless young monsters, you should see the effects of using the drug, its some really nasty stuff

I DON'T WANT TO BE A WRITER
I HATE PROSE
I HATE PROSE
>I HATE PROSE
Never gonna make it gay
Prose is good and fun Just pinch their assets and remake it from the ground up, it's fricking GMS, take you a couple of weeks tops to get it done. Asset production is the most difficult and tedious part of gamedev by far
Scripting is tedious, sure, but it's nowhere near as complex as people meme it up to be. At least not the stuff you'd be dealing with making an Undertale fangame >battle scripting
Unironically doesn't even need any kind of traditional turn based system since monsters don't use conventional abilities and there's minimal RPG elements. All you need is to code the player's actions, have the monster respond with bullet patterns, repeat until battle end. Sure shit would get dicey if you wanted to do some off the wall stuff like neutral Flowey, but even that is just a really big bullet box with a long bullet pattern when you look at it in terms of objects >bullet patterns
2D array with object id's and positions to spawn bullets in, actual bullet behaviour is handled by bullet objects >cutscenes
Copy paste someone else's text box script of the game maker forum or something, have objects move to the places you want them and play specific sprites in order, next textbox, repeat
etc etc
There's a lot of donkey work in the kind of scripting Undertale has, it'd definitely take you time and it would take some more brainpower than someone like Ceroba could muster, but there's nothing super complex there
Well you can always use some gay shit like OpenOffice or gdocs to write in if you hate Word that much. Writing is fun and cool, you already do it all the time with every post you make, just learn to love it
“Hey, mom! Look what we drew!” Kanako announced, enthusiastically waving the paper in her face. Clover quickly grabbed the other end of it and they managed to stabilize it.
It was a drawing of five people in a line together, all holding hands; three adults and two kids. Kanako herself was front and centre, one arm reaching up to hold Ceroba’s hand while Clover gripped her hand on her other side. On the far side of Clover was Martlet, her blue crayon wing completely enshrouding Clover’s tiny hand. On the opposite end, Starlo was firing off a finger gun into the sky, a big grin on his face as he held onto Ceroba’s paw with his other hand.
Despite the crudeness of it, she knew it was something she’d look back on the memory of fondly for the rest of her life, the kind of thing she’d stumble on years later and sink into reminiscence over. If only real life could be as simple as this all the time. Everyone was smiling, everyone was happy. There was still one person missing, but... They had plenty of memories of Chujin all around them. This wasn’t a drawing of the past, it was meant to show the present – and hopefully, the future.
Once again, she was smiling like an idiot.
“It’s us! Clover drew him and Martlet, and I drew me, you and Uncle Star!” Kanako seemingly took Ceroba’s delayed response as a sign to start explaining, pointing to each figure in turn. “Do you like it?”
“I love it, sweetie.” Ceroba said softly. “I’m sorry, I just... It’s just so good I couldn’t think of any words for it. It’s perfect. Is this one getting hung up, too?”
“Yeah, in Clover’s room!” Kanako answered enthusiastically. “I’ve already got a lot of pictures, so Clover needs some for his room too."

It didn't come naturally to me at first either, it's all practice like any other skill
I guess I'll pray for you that they update the modding tool to help you out, but I still think you could make it good if you took enough time To be honest I've come to believe that when people say 'talented' they're actually meaning 'enjoys it enough that you naturally want to keep practicing it'

I get what you're saying, I just love game mechanics and that manner of presentation a lot Also representing fights and split paths and such in an inherently non-visual and linear medium is a pain in the ass, and exponentially increases the chances that it'll end up being shit

I can write all day, but I have an a(r)tistic mind and that type of writing doesn't come naturally to me at all
Don't know much about programming but I imagine that the really hard stuff is implementing the insane reactivity one would expect from an Undertale game, like I remember that a unique cutscene would play in Deltarune if you were to purposefully fill your inventory slots when Spamton is about to give you his shard after beating him and he actually acknowledges this and gets mad before leaving with the shadow crystal.
He doesn't leave with anything. He just says something like "YOU FILLED YOUR [inventorium] WITH [Half-Price Salami!]????" and leaves the items in a box somewhere in the room
That sort of stuff needs foresight, attention to detail, yet more grunt work and of course a generous helping of SOVL, absolutely - but so does good writing when you get down to it.
In terms of objects, it's nothing more complex than a script checking your inventory space, and playing another cutscene using the same tricks as any other. Timers, objects, text boxes at its core. Not saying these things aren't fundamentally important to a good experience, because of course they are - but they aren't complex. People who try can do it
North Star is unironically sick and objectively improved everyone's lives in larger ways than he could've otherwise
Nerdlo is cute, but also a hoverhanding coward who is just another farmhand with no ambition
Am I the only who thought Starlo was gonna be the writer's pet character? You spend a lot of time in the Wild East and the story there centers around him and his gang. I thought I was gonna hate him, but he actually ended up being a fairly well rounded and likeable character.
honestly my first time seeing ceroba I thought she was just included to be a weeb trash furbait character. and after beating the game I'm not sure if i was proven wrong or not.
>the game about the cowboy human with a lot of time spent in the dunes section was going to be about the one weeb bait character because she's a weeb
anon I...
Compensatory degeneracy because there's no prominent gay people in Undertale Yellow and Clover, unlike Frisk and Chara, can be completely up to your interpretation so there's no "ermm they're NONBINARY, chud" discourse because everyone is entitled to their individual interpretation of Clover.
I'm pretty sure Frisk and Chara are also up to interpretation it's just that Undertale's fandom is fricking moronic and decided to make them nonbinary and shun every person that thought otherwise after being nonbinary got popular
Nah, the whole point is that Frisk was his own character all along (despite Toby making zero actual effort to express that) and that's the big "gotcha" twist of True Pacifist, and then you get DOUBLE gotcha'd when you find out Chara has a defined background and reason for basically marching Asriel into his own death.
Yes, and both Frisk and Chara's sex is left ambiguous just like a lot of things in undertale, because it's never explicitly stated, that's why it's ambiguous, they're kids I don't think they even know what a nonbinary person is, so they can't be nonbinary , because being nonbinary is a choice, not a thing you are born as
>they're kids
this is a persisting thing that I've never understood about a lot of AU oc's/fanfictions for fallen children that use those fancy pronouns. they're kids, they don't give a shit about stuff like that yet, they just want to have fun and mess around
5 months ago
Anonymous
Because they're, ironically, despite the message of "DON'T SELF-INSERT THEY'RE NOT MEANT TO BE SELF-INSERTED" they keep pushing, they do exactly that by pushing "THEY/THEM, CHUDDIE" onto the kids.
The irony is especially funny with Kris, whose entire character is "stop hijacking my fricking life and making me do shit I don't want to do bro".
Anonymous
Nta, but it just comes with the nature of being a video game protagonist in a vert meta series, personally I don't really care what other people think, I prefer my Chara and Frisk female, Kris male, and refuse to get into arguments since it's just my personal preference.
Anonymous
>they do exactly that by pushing "THEY/THEM, CHUDDIE" onto the kids.
I mean Kris is exclusively referred to by they/them in the actual game so the only on pushing it on the character is the person writing the story. By writing them that way.

My game theory is that >Kris is either a somewhat feminine man or a nonbinary man. >Ralsie is the physical manifestation of Kris's soul he gave up to jam us in them, we see they're a very feminine prince.

Kris is literally two homies
Anonymous
And even then, that's clearly Toby bending the knee because everyone would uproar that we go from "groundbreaking" protagonist territory with Undertale to "ugh, great, a story about a biological male..." in Deltarune.
Just about everything about Kris is meant to be taken as male considering he shares a room with Asriel, the way he interacts with Susie and Noelle, and all of the very deliberate design parallels with Brandish's protagonist. That being said though when it comes to fanworks I'm not against FemKris as long as she's an unkempt trainwreck.

>The irony is especially funny with Kris, whose entire character is "stop hijacking my fricking life and making me do shit I don't want to do bro".
That only really applies to Snowgrave
Anonymous
Nah, Snowgrave is that being pushed to its absolute limit, but it's clear he isn't used to doing things like actually interacting with people in Hometown or responding in certain ways, someone usually points out how Kris either struggles to say something or is weirdly enthusiastic about it.

Disappointed nobody's put together a canon choices list. Also, am I the only one who's in the susie/noell shit's being setup for failure? Or Susie just seeing her as a friend, and we the player are trying to push them together when it's a one-sided love thing going on. Could make for some interesting stories.

Anonymous
>susie/noell shit's being setup for failure?
Only because Noelle has 25 death flags sticking out of her.
Anonymous
The only notable choices I can think of are Kris being terrified of Spamton, and telling Noelle "In your dream" after you do a snowgrave route,
Should probably go through the game from the top and screenshot every relevant choice.
Anonymous
It's more apparent in little interactions across snowgrave, but the end of chapter cutscenes are very prominent parts of the game
I got the impression that Kris needs (you) and whatever you're doing (in the normal route) fits into his and Ralsei's agenda, he seems fairly content leaving you to befriend Suzie and others and Chapter 2's ending has him literally insert you back into his body.
It's only when you embarass him in the piano scene that he shows some indication of being displeased you in the normal route.

It applies to just about every route currently, apart from a few choices we know Kris would make.
Being a softie and talkie to everyone? Not what Kris would do, or wants to do.
Hugging Ralsie? Makes him very uncomfortable.
He's a troublemaker, although a kind kid despite it all, who very much so enjoys pranks. They're pretty reserved though, and generally antisocial.
>Frisk was his own character all along (despite Toby making zero actual effort to express that) and that's the big "gotcha" twist of True Pacifist
I liked it. It's like the shadow of Chara has lifted and we get to meet someone who was there all along but we never noticed. The route is all about acknowledging characters' agency, even handing the role of prophesized barrier breaking angel to Asriel, and sparing Frisk is the final test. You have him under your thumb for the whole game but only now that the crisis is over do you see there's a person under there. You can't fully exorcise Chara until you stop pressing buttons.
Considering that it doesn't make any sense and Clover's characterization constantly bounces between what the intent was and what the constraints of a bog standard genocide run need him to be, yes absolutely
Why is kanako's soul upside down?
Is it a birth defect because Ceroba is just that bad at being a mom?
Or was she just born ready to shoot first and ask questions later?
>AU where Flowey puts Blue Kanako through the reset meat grinder instead
Yeah I usually hate AUs but I'd give this one a go. The only problem I'd have with it is that Flowey has a pretty significant disdain for monsters in general, would he rely on a monster, even if they did have a human soul?
Alright just finished the pacifist ending. Nearly went from teary eyed to sobbing for a moment there. Does the ending change that much if you put down the fox?
More time with Martlet. Honestly, I kind of wish there was a secret flawed pacifist ending where you just didn't go to Asgore and instead Martlet just whisked you away back to her place and Flowey just resets out of spite.
Holy shit this would actually be a funny fic >Clover- We're lost! Oh gosh, I hope Starlo's okay... >They arrive late to the rooftop, only to find Ceroba tearing off Starlo's clothes as the two of them roll around on the ground kissing. >Martlet covers Clover's eyes but can't look away herself. >After they're done, Clover has no idea what just happened, but Ceroba apologizes >Starlo walks away on cloud nine, almost delirious. >Martlet and Clover are left alone.
"You know what, Clover? Maybe you should stay with me. I'm not sure it would be... Appropriate for you to live with them." >Clover nods their head.
>Ceroba runs away without you instead of pulling you in >Starlo has Ed pick you up and chill at the wild east
He already had things handled, the rest goes in full moron writing mode because you didn't need to leave while Starlo had his chat with Ceroba. Things would have been better if Clover decided to stay with one of the monsters, save Kanako and let the kill Ceroba ending be the canon one
which ones are which
I think moray is the gay at least
Clover is the Fire Power
Ed is the Power
Moray is the Gay
Mooch is the Bastard
Ace is the Guy With No Ears
Starlow is the Sissy
and Ceroba is the Awesome
Together they make Goat Slaiyers (Asgore would be the Troll King)
So "Tucked In" is basically confirmation that Kanako is the amalgamate who tucks Frisk into bed right
The amalgamate overworld sprites don't reflect how they actually look most of the time anyway
Extremely hard reaching to make a connection considering Kanako never actually tucks anyone in, its Ceroba who did.
Saying that song is actually meant to be her theme doesn't make sense either because Kanako's theme is literally just named Kanako.
Am I fricking gay if this game shattered a wall I had built up around myself over years of never being able to truly feel love or connect with people, and being a lonely bastard. I now no longer feel miserable, but instead lonely and sad. The loathing and dread has almost completely disapeared.
I'm a fricking gay now, but I feel so much better.
How did some shitty fan game fix me.
Cerobagay here, Dina's cute.
someone pissed on my fricking daughter and now she's a goop piss girl I hate humans so fricking much
that one anon who wanted her another color played himself, almagates are naturally white
It's time for Dina vs Mooch
I pick Mooch. I want her to flash me her panties. I need to know what she's wearing.
Mooch mooning Clover while an inexplicable second Mooch is picking his back pocket behind him
Moochie Choochie
Mooch koochie... Why hasn't anyone drawn her with a nice vag yet?
Squirrel feet, delicious.
What are the games do you think Ceroba and Starlo played as a kid?
Zelda a link to the past
Starlo only had an Amiga CD32 he found in the trash with one game only.
Wild Guns
Red Dead Redemption and Star Fox.
Honeydew shop keepers mogs them all with zero diff.
Honestly it's not even a competition, all cerbo has is her bot and all Martlet has is the ability to groom children.
I'm starting to dislike your tone, buddy.
Just wish she had a name, she was an instant heartthrob when I first ran into her
Ceroba wins because she makes even Martlet wet.
>threesome with Dina and the honeydew bear girl
>Dina is the confident one who teaches the bear girl the ropes
The Honeydew shopkeeper would never take part in a threeway.
Martletgays... you're response?

Not playing.
And yet you keep posting on these threads.
C'mon, partner. Not everything is furry in this game.
Good thing Starlo isn't a furry then. Maybe a xeno? I don't know.
I would have gone with plant monster but alien is kind of funny because
>Cowboy Alien
e's a fruit
>sunflower dad
>moon mom
>brother is mom aligned
He seems to be a starfruit, I bet even his saliva would be naturally sweet
>literally sweet kisses
Anon, that's going to make me flustered.
Not just his saliva will be sweet if you're into that
Hell yes, I would be into that.
dad
I thought he was just meant to be a sun
it's both, it's a play on words like most undertale shit anon
He seems to be a sunflower to me, a big fat one at that
He's a space cowboy, a shooting star, a sheriff badge man
I like to think it's his brother who is the space enjoyer since Starlo leaves to live with the feisty in his own home and his parents mention they don't see him as much. Starlo also end up cleaning Ceroba's home for Kanako's come back while his brother kept the room with broken planks and corn crumbs all over
The most uninspired design isn't a furry though, that'd be Ed.
I deem Mooch... best girl.
Cultured anon speaks truth, take this complimentary bin lid to protect yourself against the Ceroba army
Why are us, Martletchads made fun of? I mean, look at all these Martlet edits. Why?!
They all come from one mod that targets every character, not just her.
And Tardfoxgays have been getting this treatment ever since the game came out, so welcome to the club.

Martlet leaking Cloaca....
What "stuff", anon? Pray tell
her design in-game is pretty forgettable but this piece of fanart makes me appreciate her a bit more, she looks more like a rabbit in-game
You remind me of that rabbit from the dunes. She was funny, both in design and personality, not really waifu material... but yeah, funny like in "haha, she has a funny face"
these threads suck now
Needs more Ceroba
Attempt to start a conversation that you believe can steer the topic to something you're more positive of, then?
True.
Why do you say so?
of course they would eventually suck, people will migrate to /utg/ unless they do a /trash/ thread
Dude its basically the same thing since day 1
we ran out of stuff to discuss about the gameplay, unlike undertale the story is pretty straightfoward and there's no big mysteries in the fun values or some mystery man.
I wish Ceroba was my mother. So she would fricking kill me.
Calm down, all of you
I am once again asking for nudes of the Honeydew shopkeeper
You should know by now... those don't exist.
But they should
Wha-
Here you go 🙂
FASTER!
Anon, that's as fast as the poor bear can handle!
I really want a version with her hand up.
it was in the other fread, you might have missed it
The one where she's wrapped in a towel, or the cleavage one? I don't really count those as nudes
this is an azure auditorium and thus only nudes of the soul are allowed
most monsters don't have breasts anyway, i don't understand why you would want to see that
I am not a FURRY!
*KISSES CEROBA*
I AM NOT A FURRY!
*CUMS IN HER*
I AM NOT A FURRY!!
*MAKES OUT WITH CEROBA WHILE HOLDING HANDS WITH HER LEGS LOCKED AROUND ME*
I AM NOT!!!!!
>kiss
You are a furry.
This is a cute scenario I'd like to go through with Ceroba
?t=1407
Can someone tell me what this censored part is? I don't want to play through the whole AI version just to see a few uncensored lines.
I WILL IMPREGNNANTE STARLO!
Calm down Chujin
funny you say that. the implication of him being a flower means his sex can be changed like a switch
>taking Starlo's hand in marriage to make an honest man out of him (while being held at gunpoint by his family)
Why do people want to frick ceroba? She's awful in every way. Worthless coomers.
She's a tard, but I like to imagine some of her sex scenarios. If I was in her shoes, Starlo wouldn't be a virgin
Anon did you just admit to wanting to be Ceroba so you can bang Starlo?
I respect it, but damn.
Because I like to imagine her getting better
I!
CAN!
FIX !
HER!
True.
the more I think about it, the more I realize how much of a jackass she is. her plan is basically to drag you along on a journey to break into alphys's lab, which isn't exactly easy to do. find her daughter. than kill you and somehow use your soul to bring kanako back all while not getting found out. in order to continue on her husbands work in making a boss monster army and defeat humanity. but his assessment is just a guess and very likely wouldn't work anyway
is she just moronic?
>is she just moronic?
Yes.
>she pretends she's capable of repairing the Steamworks decommissioned power core, admits she had no idea what she was doing
>there's a TALK dialogue in Steamworks that confirms she thinks coolant heats things up (possible joke on antifreeze?)
>she forgets to pull out the robot you made for Axis the during the first encounter
>during the first Axis chase sequence, she abandons Clover and runs for her life, despite not knowing where Axis would put Clover, which has the precious soul she needs
>during the second Axis chase sequence where he begins shooting you, she also doesn't protect Clover's soul from damage and possibly death
>says only reason she learned about colors in preschool was because she was "forced" to learn
>admits that technology and her don't mix well
>gets offended when the wall mounted gif says she's not smart enough to understand Steamworks
>she has no tails (in folklore a greater amount of tails on a Kitsune indicates more wisdom and power)
>the whole Kanako disaster
At least she's not anti-vaxx
Was pacifist rushed or was she just meant to be that moronic and we are just simply baffled by her moronism, not realizing that yes. She would inject mystery serum into her kid.
She would give her kid bleach to drink if they asked nicely enough.
>Was pacifist rushed or was she just meant to be that moronic
No doubt it suffers from being written when most of the team were still dumb kids, but they were so far into commitment by that point that any major alterations would've risked burnout and potential cancellation.
That being said, yeah, Ceroba is that moronic by default.
Kind of wish they would have only started development when they were older. Though maybe being younger was one of the reasons they were always passionate about the project and it never ended up being cancelled.
I wonder what they'll do next
>I wonder what they'll do next
Work 9-5 jobs to earn a wage that could barely support a living as most grown ups do
You know, the NPCs in the Mines do reflect the monotonous reality of growing up...
Yes pacifist was rushed, no Ceroba is a fricking moron.
>Still a million times better than someone like Toriel.
Explain. NOW.
Let me get the pasta.
i will remind them
ceroba:
>moronic, broken mess of a woman, she acknowledges the fact that she is a moronic, broken mess of a woman, at least shows some regret over her actions (the moronic rushed true pacifist ending that character assassinates the whole main cast gets ignored for being total dogshit)
>gets at least some form of grief over her actions, at worst she, most likely canonically, gets bullet 2 the head
>sucks her dead husband's dick from the grave way too much to the point it cost her her daughter (moron)
>treats her designated cuck starlo like a friend instead of outright despising him, acknowledges he's the better person, goes fricking nuclear over his death in genocide
>death toll is her own daughter (who then got turned into goo by alphys)
>can be fixed
t*riel:
>smug, overbearing c**t who essentially tries to kidnap every single child that falls down into the underground, and when they try to leave lets them die
>always in the right, smug as frick in every argument, nobody ever directly calls her out, only gets overthrown for sucking too much human dick in some neutral endings
>actively tells children to kill others, specially asgore, when they leave her shithole
>could have escorted any of the children through the underground, didn't because that would mean she'd have to do something useful instead of sitting around roleplaying as a shit mother in the ruins
>shit queen that ran away from her people and has active disdain for them
>shit wife that hates her husband for making one (1) mistake that she could have stopped at any point in time by just talking to him,
>"DURRR JUST TAKE 1 SOUL THEN GO OUTSIDE AND ASK NICELY FOR 6 OTHER ONES/GO ON A KILLING SPREE"
>even in other dimensions she's still a horrible smug c**t
>fricks sans, and considering what rudy tells us about her, is a total party prostitute
>death toll is at least 5 of the children who fell down after asriel died
>there's nothing to fix, she's aids down to the core
I always thought it was really bad she never asked if frisk had family.
Frisk for all she knows has a very loving mom and dad.
Which is why I never choose to actually go with her.
What have you done anon
I think her writing is all over the place
During the Feisty Four she behaved more like how you and
says, a sort of mature mother that's playing along with others and poking fun at their immaturity, but then in Steamworks you get dialogue that makes her come across like she's still a quirky teenager or completely irresponsible, then near the end of Pacifist she's acting like a samurai that's bound by the code of honoring one's legacy
Too much of it clashes with itself
There was definitely some weird shit going on with Ceroba, she probably had a major rewrite happen mid-way through development. Original creator lost control over her or something, probably for the best.
>a sort of mature mother that's playing along with others and poking fun at their immaturity, but then in Steamworks you get dialogue that makes her come across like she's still a quirky teenager or completely irresponsible
Her fight is REALLY fricking cool but I can't enjoy it as much because all the issues plague my fricking mind
>allegory for kitsunes: She's deceiving Clover
She's to moronic to actually fool anyone.
Samurai fox would have been rad frickin hell though...
>Samurai fox would have been rad frickin hell though...
I was disappointed her weapon of choice was a staff and not a katana
What the hell man...
No one in Yellow uses a katana despite it being the quintessential eastern weapon.
"Cowboy Samurai" is the rawest fricking character concept in existence why didn't they even try
I WANT TO FRICKING STOP BUT I CAN'T
THIS GAME HAS BEEN LIVING RENT FREE IN MY HEAD SINCE IT CAME OUT ON HOW MAD THE WRITING IN IT MAKES ME FEEL GOD FRICKING DAMN IT I NEED TO PLAY SOMETHING ELSE OR FIX THIS MYSELF
I fricking beg someone please draw Ceroba in this fit
its actually fricking crazy how she goes "yeah Starlo so something just came up and I think Kanako is fine now, can I take Clover real quick through Steamworks alone and to the lab so I can also drop them off Asgore later?" and not a single thought passes anyone's minds
Ed also getting the luckiest fricking draw and uncovering the attack on titan basement while breaking in and cleaning her house is the most insane deus ex machina in that game. Especially considering how quick they do it since Starlo, Ed and the gang all manage to get on with it AND reach Clover and Ceroba all within the Steamworks voyage. If you think about this part its actually the craziest part about the whole ordeal
so how does that even work
did Chujin just get insanely fricking lucky and find the only other unapologetically japanese fox monster in the Underground to pump full of children or could he have had Kanako with anyone else? Is Ceroba's monster species even japanese themed or did Chujin push that on her? Are there other fox monsters? Can monsters even reproduce outside their inner group? We see no examples of non-similar couples producing children so...
when i'm in a reading-too-far-into-things competition and my opponent is an undertale fan
>Can monsters even reproduce outside their inner group? We see no examples of non-similar couples producing children so
You see a sunflower and a moon make a starfruit, she could probably have had kids with anyone
The bit about the secret room always got me because it's just lifting a carpet up, I guess Chujin always cleaned that room in particular
Chujin hid that basement from his family for like two years and Ed found it the first time he walked through the room.
Plot twist, Ed is actually the most intelligent character in UTY but no one knows it because they judge him by his looks
i'm stealing that headcanon
Ed's very emotionally aware, he's clearly uncomfortable being treated like Starlo's muscle because he's always asking Clover if they're mad at him.
I think it'd be real funny if he was also super smart in general, like he keeps tons of high-level human literature tucked away in his little hole in the floor and has intricate hobbies like woodworking and model building. He operates at a different level from the rest of the squad, but no one engages with him that way.
A big dude like that trying to clean is obviously gonna throw furniture around, so that technically makes sense
kanako also managed to stumble across his secret basement so maybe it's not as secretive as he made it out to be.
ceroba not finding it is just her being clueless as usual
I said it in another thread but the confrontation at the hotlands elevator should have ceroba be very nervous and flee which makes starlo suspicious, he goes after her but tells you to go to the estate to see if you can figure out why she is acting weird, that way they could also put extra dialogue with the feisty four while you all investigated the mansion
Maybe in toby lore it's like pokémon egg groups and the monsters just need to be in the same element
Knowing him and that Homestuck shit he likes, 100%
>AND WHY CEROBA ISN'T A BOSS MONSTER EITHER? THEY'RE THE SAME TYPE OF MONSTER
They can't all be as severely inbred as the royal family anon
>its almost like she's written like an OC made by a teenager who wanted her to be cool but also the writer's persona at the same time without any actual depth to any of it
This is the same impression I got from her. Amateur fanfic OC's tend not to have much personality beyond "vaguely sarcastic" and "super badass," and they also constantly quip and comment on the canon with the assumption that they somehow know better.
But it seems unbelievable that a teenager wouldn't seize on Ceroba being a milf
There's so many ways they could have played her character.
>strictly business, keep Clover at arm's length because she can't get invested
>racist against the human because it's the only way to justify what she's about to do
>extremely caring because she wants to make his final moments happy
>excessively personal because she desperately needs someone to accept and understand her unbearable sins
>spacey, constantly distracted by her inner turmoil
But they don't stick to any. Hell, she could have started acting one way and transitioned to another as she got to know him but they didn't do that either. Or even have her act clearly one way with bits of her real personality peeking through when things get dire. That's why Flowey's writing stood out: he doesn't drop his act all at once, it just slowly unravels as you needle him with your actions. Instead she's just a mess.
How cruel it would've been to realize her motherly behavior towards you was actually just to lure you in and eat you up
Souls come out in one piece regardless, that's why she has the canister
The only reason she didn't just kill you the moment she had the chance is because she wouldn't want to actually go through with that herself
And also because she'd be too moronic to get through on her own
Would be neat if they went all out on her trying to murder you, at the start wanting to kill you by her hand, then getting more uncomfortable with that and tries to lead you somewhere to die by someone else's hands until she actually can't bare the though of you dying and she's the last person you befriend type of thing but the relationship between you is much more meaningful.
I mean, I don't know that she'd ever want to personally kill you until you force that out of her at the end
If you actually made it to the lab unopposed and she had to actually grapple with what to do about you, she'd probably just start crying until you found a way to fix it
>Souls come out in one piece regardless
do they? I thought there was a sort of extraction process, in the neutral route we see all the times clover died and his soul shatters into bits and pieces
when flowey kills him with the pellets he preserves the soul in one whole piece, so I figured there was some magic frickery involved for soul extraction
did I miss something?
There's no way Clover just saw this memory with a calm and understanding expression, I imagine he must've been looking at Ceroba like picrel
Clover actually saw it with this expression _
>hiroshimoot ate my vertical lines
motherfricker
Exactly.
Chujin wrote this post from beyond the grave.
Chujin + Kanako because you know she would be just as pissed as he was realizing she shipped her corpse away to die in a royal infirmary instead of at least being burred alongside her father.
Kanako is alive in amalgamate form.
>B-but it's a fate worse than death!
They looked like they were holding up fine in the Undertale Epilogue :^)
>Kanako is alive in amalgamate form
More headcannon, nothing in-game implies she didn't immediately fall to dust after the events of the flashback, or that she even made it to the lab before dissipating into dust.
All we know is that she was immediately put on the monsters equivalent of her last breaths.
then why in the actual frick is Ceroba doing the whole thing with Clover
She is delusional, she even states this before she starts trying to kill you in the true pacifist fight.
She doesn't even know how a pure soul will save Clover because the pure soul shit is actually more in line with making the serum functional.
Nothing in game implies otherwise either and they wouldn't have included the entire Alphys determination experiments plot point at all if they just wanted her character to be dead from the get go. I know you want to seethe at le furry oc but you need to think before you post.
>Nothing in game implies otherwise either
and nothing directly denies it so its entirely up in the air, making it headcannon.
Your forgetting how monster dust was also regularly used in the amalgam testing.
>Your forgetting how monster dust was also regularly used in the amalgam testing.
No it fricking wasn't.
Also Alphys explicitly says in her fricking entries that NONE of the bodies sent to her had turned into dust, you're the only one with headcanon here.
She also explicitly says that EVERYONE that had fallen down woke up.
Kanako is an amalgamate. You didn't play either game. End of rine.
Look up what fallen down means in UT lore you homosexual
What part of that post goes against what falling down is? Kanako fell down when her mother injected her with the blue AIDS, she's was on the same coma state all monsters enter before dying.
>nothing in-game implies she didn't immediately fall to dust after the events of the flashback
Ceroba literally tells Starlo at the beginning of the Steamworks section that she knows Kanako is alive and knows where she is
Just like how she knew she actually perfected the serum as well as how Clovers soul would somehow magically fix Kanako when not even Frisk could people back from dead, and how only a super monster with the power of 7 human souls could partially save Asriel.
>b-but le CHUDjin is at fault for that just like he was for killing Kanako!
Like two people max have said this. Everyone else realizes she's a horrible person, but just like with other bad people they thing they can "fix her". Chujin blame is mostly all in jest.
>IN JEST
Oh, I meant what I said.
I think I'm having a heart attack
TSMT
she basically uses her only daughter as her first test subject for this experimental soul shit she knows nothing about. then tries to kill you because she thinks that will bring her daughter back somehow. I can understand wanting revenge on humanity for sealing monsters underground but come on.
at this point I can't tell if she's an idiot or just an butthole
Redemption stories are kino THOUGH
There's not a single person who doesn't love Ayin and he was more reprehensible than Ceroba, Chujin, Alphys and Toriel combined
>Just like how she knew she actually perfected the serum as well as
Her knowledge of Kanako's status and location is also backed up by objective sources such as the RSD PSA in Ceroba's room, and the whole thing of Ceroba following you through the Steamworks explicitly to get your soul and give it to her daughter
Ceroba has done nothing to show she actually deserve redemption.
She still a b***h when you spare her life and sees no problem in Clover sacrificing himself for monsters instead of finding some sort of compromise.
Fair, but I'd point to the obviously cut true lab segment as being an ample spot to address this
He's just going to say headcanon to that though.
No matter though, he's already been EXPOSED as not knowing anything about the topic at hand.
>homosexual hanging on the fact that I didn't recall some shit that even HE had to go to the games wiki for
Still doesn't change the fact that amalgam beast are more or less dead.
>Y-you used wiki screencaps so uhm y-
You HAVE been objectively DEMOLISHED.
You have been EXPOSED as knowing absolutely NOTHING about the topic
You WILL refrain from posting on this topic in the future out of shame
>erm...you didn't 100% accurately interpretate frick face anime dinosaurs notes from the game you beat nearly 9 years ago? Yikes.....
Considering how 90% of these threads are now headcannon and fanfiction at this point that directly goes against both games story, this is not the big own you seem to think it is.
You're the only headcanon poster here. It's OVER for you.
>sees no problem in Clover sacrificing himself for monsters instead of finding some sort of compromise
pretty much everyone agrees that the true pacifist ending is a rushed piece of garbage that degrades every character involved, by this logic Starlo and Martlet are also iredeemable pieces of shit
>Ceroba has done nothing to show she actually deserve redemption.
Neither did Ayin until he finally earned it right at the end by making it happen, it's not about deserving it
>She still a b***h when you spare her life
I can kind of understand that since she seems to default to being a b***h when under stress
>sees no problem in Clover sacrificing himself for monsters instead of finding some sort of compromise.
I would concede this point but like that other guy said I unironically refuse to consider anything past the point of Clover announcing he wants to comet sudoku as actually happening, because it was COMPLETE DOGSHIT that fricked up not just Ceroba's character but everyone else present's as well. I have literally never seen an ending more worth ignoring than UTY's true pacifist ending. Not a single one. I actually don't think it's possible
by undertale's own canon no monster is truly too far gone and can be restored to being a loving, caring person with just a bit of effort anon
she's not a bad person at her core, she quite literally, canonically, CATEGORICALLY is just stupid, she does some horrible things not because of malice or bad intentions, but because she's blinded by love or unhealthy admiration, do you read? HER CHARACTER FLAW IS THAT SHE'S OVERLY ATTACHED, and a bit stupid, she's peak fixgay material
is this your cute little twitter cancellation doc on her or something
>-oomer buzzword
Post discarded.
ceroba replies to bait unironically and gets so angry she keeps destroying Chujin's keyboards, he's always too scared to intervene

CEREBRAL IS MY WIFE!
You know I'm surprised there was never an astrology-chart type craze in the fandom for the different SOUL traits
Martlet
I care more about sweet romantic stuff with Ceroba than I do simple sex shit.
What about complex sex stuff?
This
She might have minimal cerebral power but she deserves to be happy
anon sweet romantic stuff leads to sex. women want sex. you do romantic shit with her then you frick her till she goes cross eyed.
Yes, the sex is important too, but I just want to do lovey dovey shit with her.
Me too anon... If only these barbarians could see things our way...
Truly, if only...
Also what model are you using?
I'm using GPT-4. Don't recommend it if you can't pay the price. But it's pretty much the best thing you can use. Sometimes it'll get a lil spicy on its own as well.
Can someone talk me out of making some Starlo cowplay?
No, do it
do it pussy
do it and post it.
Why would you not want to be a cowboy?
Sweet romantic stuff will eventually lead to lovemaking, you know. Are you sure you can handle it?
>handle it
Is Ceroba rough?
What do you think did Chujin in?
>tfw Chujin's serum actually worked
>but Ceroba's insatiable sexual appetite made him cum everyday
>as a boss monster, cumming diminishes his lifespam
>he died only 3 weeks after becoming a boss monster
You got Ceroba's approval.
What chatbot is this? I've been using venus chub but unless you spring for a premium API you're stuck with chatGPT and every single character you make using that eventually devolves into the same repetitive word-salad GPT personality.

Thanks anon, I'll definitely fool around with her later. Have this silly looking Ceroba as thanks.
Have fun! I am curently teaching her how to properly bathe herself.
But I LIKE her stinky....
Anon there is a point where they HAVE to wash, It goes from a pleasant musk to smelling like wet rotting flesh.
who's doing the milking?
Don't do it.
I want ceroba to hold me.
Hell I want Ceroba lap pillow.
Who'd win in an orgy between Ceroba and Starlo?
What do you mean by win?
Who'd win in an orgy between Ceroba and Starlo?
Martlet has a pussy and butthole that she reserved for shota wiener
>You would be wise to join my gang
>From a kitsune with no tails
Hmmmm
CharlesGOD here, I pick Ceroba, she's got my back.
Doesn't the game eventually reveal that they're working together?
Starlo is boy or girl?
Neither. He's a MAN
not defending the coomers but they were here from day 1
nothing has changed
Hey I'm playing Audiosurf 2! That's not fricking the characters!
This bozo doesn't understand human sexuality, damn
So I started playing some days ago, i'm 400 minutes in. I'm having fun, I think my favorite area was the dunes, and my least favorite was the ruins, which didn't quite feel as interesting as the next areas.
Dalv is boring
Who?
Could Ted Bundy beat Ceroba?
Chujin wanted a human wife to stick things up his butthole and watch Ben 10 with but he had to settle for a moronic kitsune with no tails. He copes with his sad reality claiming that he hates humans.
MANLET IS MY WIFE AND I WILL IMPREGNATE HER WITH TEN BIRD BABIES AND/OR CUM ON HER EGGS!
Manlet?
If we could kill Alphys, no one would have ever gotten the pacifist ending.
I just want to torture Alphys for all eternity
Who doesn't?
Thinking about it both Alphys and Undyne like Asgore, so he should frick both of them.
Kanako looked hot in the old pictures by the way
anon?
Please be patient and wait until she's bloomed into a fat assed amazonian Kitsune like her mom
I appreciate the irony that Chujin, who spent his twilight years lying his ass off and covering up all his mistakes, died because he injected himself with Integrity.
bro died out of shame
Monsters are dumb
>Ah yes, I will inject the soul essence of the killer child who my robot brutally killed into me
>I am sure nothing bad like the soul trying to kill me out of spite will happen
Would Martlet be a Sonyer, Xbox fan or a Nintendie?
And people thought we had exhausted every conversational topic in these threads...
Does Ceroba-?
wash herself after pissing? No. She smells like forest musky fox 24/7
Frick human men, yes.
But real question does Kanako?
Only human cowboys
Would Martlet self insert as Link while playing?
For fricks sake these Danza attacks are hell in Audiosurf,
Are you Truer Than Fiction, anon?
>monsters physically produce their own music in battle
>clover does genocide purely to listen to enemy retreating on repeat
Reminder that Starro and Ceroba canonically hook up after pacifist route.
>childhood friends

>Ceroba fricking looses it if you kill Starro while Starro hates you if you kill Ceroba
>Starro throwing a welcome back party for Kanako, cares alot for her and her mother
>both characters wanted to bring happiness to all monsters in their own way
I dare you guys to try and tell me that Shitjin was a better character/husband, you can’t.
I'm okay with this outcome because I like the two of them and they're cute together.
this is the best outcome for the both of them. besides, starlo is the second chance that ceroba kind of needs. maybe he can help her not be such a frickup of a mother.
Starro probably cucked Jin
Does anyone have the fox girls > cat girls tweet from Toby?
When will we finally get undertale fan game where we weaponize friendship itself and fire a beam of pure friendship to eradicate evil??

Frisk beating up ceroba with a stick
clover and martlet swinging on the swing
I'm imagining this scenario as Marlet yeeting that little girl off the swing so she can swing with clover
she's trying her best

2 cute sex moms
It doesn't fit, but nobody tell her
>I'm surprised it still fits, heh.
well about that
Cute.
>Clover, what do you want to be for Halloween?
>A...a cowboy? But...
Martlet dressing up as her zenith form is a cute idea.
Its like she see's it as some sort super hero alter ego.
Dressing up as your OC for Halloween is some real turbo autism
That's what makes it so endearing.
so perfectly in line with martlet then
>is some real turbo autism
Martlet was locked inside of a cell and all she did for a time was brainstorm puzzle ideas like an autist
Fits her perfectly
>"So Martlet, what are you supposed to be? Undyne?"
>Martlet mumbles something incoherently and runs away
God, she's literally me.
In 5th grade, I dressed up as the rival from Gold and Silver and had to explain it to what felt like every kid in my class plus the teacher. I never dressed up as a video game character again.
Were you disgusted with the trashy man?
Is it really an OC if it's what Martlet would actually look like if she took the steroids?
Needs a follow up pic where Hyperdeath Asriel compliments Martlet to her chagrin.

The Original Starwalker being pissed off by Ceroba's SHIT
Pacifist Clover being sad about Zenith Martlet.
Why would he be sad?
Because Martlet was planning to kill him the entire time and was just pretending to be his friend.
>this insane headcanon homosexualry again
In the neutral ending, Martlet tells Clover that she was planning to use the steroids to kill Clover, before deciding to throw them away. A pacifist Clover would be able to work out that Martlet was carrying and planning to use the steroids the entire time, but ended up using them by accident.
it was a contingency just in case anon, at most he'd be a bit disappointed that she didnt have complete faith in him but pacifist clover forgave fricking ceroba and her shit, he probably wouldn't hold that against martlet
Don't even bother, he's got this big betrayal scenario cemented right in his head and he posts it on EVERY thread as if it was canon.
That's why I said Clover being sad, not angry.

I DON'T WANT TO BE A WRITER
I HATE PROSE
I HATE PROSE
>I HATE PROSE
Never gonna make it gay
Prose is good and fun
Just pinch their assets and remake it from the ground up, it's fricking GMS, take you a couple of weeks tops to get it done. Asset production is the most difficult and tedious part of gamedev by far
It's more than just assets, but all the scripting
It's still a game under all that, man
In some form or another, cowboy allah willing
Scripting is tedious, sure, but it's nowhere near as complex as people meme it up to be. At least not the stuff you'd be dealing with making an Undertale fangame
>battle scripting
Unironically doesn't even need any kind of traditional turn based system since monsters don't use conventional abilities and there's minimal RPG elements. All you need is to code the player's actions, have the monster respond with bullet patterns, repeat until battle end. Sure shit would get dicey if you wanted to do some off the wall stuff like neutral Flowey, but even that is just a really big bullet box with a long bullet pattern when you look at it in terms of objects
>bullet patterns
2D array with object id's and positions to spawn bullets in, actual bullet behaviour is handled by bullet objects
>cutscenes
Copy paste someone else's text box script of the game maker forum or something, have objects move to the places you want them and play specific sprites in order, next textbox, repeat
etc etc
There's a lot of donkey work in the kind of scripting Undertale has, it'd definitely take you time and it would take some more brainpower than someone like Ceroba could muster, but there's nothing super complex there
I absolutely have the "You die if you work" mindset towards the kind of tedium involved in remaking an entire game from scratch
Then boot up Word and get to work niggy.
Suicide it is, thank you anon
>Cute Kanako and Clover SoL stuff
Perfect.
Glad you like it anon, hopefully you'll like the rest too
It didn't come naturally to me at first either, it's all practice like any other skill
I guess I'll pray for you that they update the modding tool to help you out, but I still think you could make it good if you took enough time
To be honest I've come to believe that when people say 'talented' they're actually meaning 'enjoys it enough that you naturally want to keep practicing it'
I get what you're saying, I just love game mechanics and that manner of presentation a lot
Also representing fights and split paths and such in an inherently non-visual and linear medium is a pain in the ass, and exponentially increases the chances that it'll end up being shit
We fight for better?
People who try can do it
Dont give up anon! You can do this! You can give Starlo JUSTICE
Which version of him do you prefers? Cowboy or Nerd?
Space explorer.
Wasn't that his brother?
Cowboy.
North Star is unironically sick and objectively improved everyone's lives in larger ways than he could've otherwise
Nerdlo is cute, but also a hoverhanding coward who is just another farmhand with no ambition
Both.
I'm going to bed. Goodnight all.

Am I the only who thought Starlo was gonna be the writer's pet character? You spend a lot of time in the Wild East and the story there centers around him and his gang. I thought I was gonna hate him, but he actually ended up being a fairly well rounded and likeable character.
what kind of 2015's teenager unironically thinks cowboys are cool and not a meme aesthetic
it was always going to be about Ceroba. She's the obvious japanese anime character

honestly my first time seeing ceroba I thought she was just included to be a weeb trash furbait character. and after beating the game I'm not sure if i was proven wrong or not.
>the game about the cowboy human with a lot of time spent in the dunes section was going to be about the one weeb bait character because she's a weeb
anon I...
>there's no point in the story where you're nerding out with Starlo ooc about cowboy fiction
why does this game have a cuck arc
Starlo ain't no simp aymore
Starlo's character concept is "what if papyrus had alphys' personality and was not allowed to be happy"
Frisk is asian, not a he
Yes, and both Frisk and Chara's sex is left ambiguous just like a lot of things in undertale, because it's never explicitly stated, that's why it's ambiguous, they're kids I don't think they even know what a nonbinary person is, so they can't be nonbinary , because being nonbinary is a choice, not a thing you are born as
>they're kids
this is a persisting thing that I've never understood about a lot of AU oc's/fanfictions for fallen children that use those fancy pronouns. they're kids, they don't give a shit about stuff like that yet, they just want to have fun and mess around
Nta, but it just comes with the nature of being a video game protagonist in a vert meta series, personally I don't really care what other people think, I prefer my Chara and Frisk female, Kris male, and refuse to get into arguments since it's just my personal preference.
>they do exactly that by pushing "THEY/THEM, CHUDDIE" onto the kids.
I mean Kris is exclusively referred to by they/them in the actual game so the only on pushing it on the character is the person writing the story. By writing them that way.
My game theory is that
>Kris is either a somewhat feminine man or a nonbinary man.
>Ralsie is the physical manifestation of Kris's soul he gave up to jam us in them, we see they're a very feminine prince.
Kris is literally two homies
Nah, Snowgrave is that being pushed to its absolute limit, but it's clear he isn't used to doing things like actually interacting with people in Hometown or responding in certain ways, someone usually points out how Kris either struggles to say something or is weirdly enthusiastic about it.
Disappointed nobody's put together a canon choices list. Also, am I the only one who's in the susie/noell shit's being setup for failure? Or Susie just seeing her as a friend, and we the player are trying to push them together when it's a one-sided love thing going on. Could make for some interesting stories.
>susie/noell shit's being setup for failure?
Only because Noelle has 25 death flags sticking out of her.
The only notable choices I can think of are Kris being terrified of Spamton, and telling Noelle "In your dream" after you do a snowgrave route,
Should probably go through the game from the top and screenshot every relevant choice.
It's more apparent in little interactions across snowgrave, but the end of chapter cutscenes are very prominent parts of the game
There are actual nonbinary self-inserts in the game anon
The fricking robots almost have more consistent defined genders than the monsters
Nonbinary is a made up word, their gender it's up to interpretation so you can insert yourself into them
Anon I don't know how to break this to you, but Moray is not your self-insert
Who?
Don't frick with us Undertale Yellow fans, we've never played the game
Because you're projecting yourself into it
Chujin is protecting his daughter as best he can.
game should've had more ceroba and made her even more japanese
Ceroba's pubes
Need to see more of that in her fanart
Frick Martlet AND Ceroba. Violently.
Was Clover wrong for his justice route?
No.
Considering that it doesn't make any sense and Clover's characterization constantly bounces between what the intent was and what the constraints of a bog standard genocide run need him to be, yes absolutely
Yes
Underground must burn...And Ceroba's pussy will be the first to be filled with human babies...
Ceroba will be the first to die.
Why is kanako's soul upside down?
Is it a birth defect because Ceroba is just that bad at being a mom?
Or was she just born ready to shoot first and ask questions later?
Monster souls are upside-down
You know what, fair
I haven't played UT since like 2016
That's just how Monster SOULs are depicted for one reason or another.
It looks like one of those merged human monster souls so I think the implication is that the blue kid merged with Kanako at some point.
>Why is kanako's soul upside down?
...
Fricking dumbass doesn't know the most basic lore shit
they're upside down to show they're inherently different from humans
>AU where Flowey puts Blue Kanako through the reset meat grinder instead
Yeah I usually hate AUs but I'd give this one a go. The only problem I'd have with it is that Flowey has a pretty significant disdain for monsters in general, would he rely on a monster, even if they did have a human soul?
Nice art.
I find it funny that the ballerina is more likely to have been neutral or genocide than the child that had a gun.
did chujin die in this and kanako took over the research instead of ceroba?
I don't want to be a furry... But why do I have the urge to impregnate Ceroba!?!?
Do you accept the possibility of your kids being so moronic they don't even get any tails?
I will wrangle both my wife and kids.
tardwrangling and fixing is half of the appeal
Alright just finished the pacifist ending. Nearly went from teary eyed to sobbing for a moment there. Does the ending change that much if you put down the fox?
If you kill Ceroba then you meet Asgore and he kills you
More time with Martlet. Honestly, I kind of wish there was a secret flawed pacifist ending where you just didn't go to Asgore and instead Martlet just whisked you away back to her place and Flowey just resets out of spite.
You can actually stay with Toriel and this will make Flowey instantly reset the game to the beginning.
Do you think Starlo could have defused the situation better if Martlet and Clover didn't butt-in at the rooftop
They would have had sex and Marlet would put a feather over Clover's eye.
Holy shit this would actually be a funny fic
>Clover- We're lost! Oh gosh, I hope Starlo's okay...
>They arrive late to the rooftop, only to find Ceroba tearing off Starlo's clothes as the two of them roll around on the ground kissing.
>Martlet covers Clover's eyes but can't look away herself.
>After they're done, Clover has no idea what just happened, but Ceroba apologizes
>Starlo walks away on cloud nine, almost delirious.
>Martlet and Clover are left alone.
"You know what, Clover? Maybe you should stay with me. I'm not sure it would be... Appropriate for you to live with them."
>Clover nods their head.
Cerobas cave woman brain shortcircits in the heat of the moment and instead of fricking up Starlo, she starts fricking down Starlo.
>Ceroba runs away without you instead of pulling you in
>Starlo has Ed pick you up and chill at the wild east
He already had things handled, the rest goes in full moron writing mode because you didn't need to leave while Starlo had his chat with Ceroba. Things would have been better if Clover decided to stay with one of the monsters, save Kanako and let the kill Ceroba ending be the canon one
I hate furries... But I want to help ceroba become a better person so I'll marry her...
>I hate furries
Truth is pal, you already are one.
>POV : You're Ceroba at the end of my pacifist run
I'm a furry. But I wouldn't frick ceroba.
i'm a furry and i want to shower ceroba with nothing but nonstop love
Loving anthro girls isn't furry. Having a fursuit or/and a fursona is.
Conceptualize the thought of cuddling with these two, tall monsters.
We'll make it work just nicely.
>slimy feathers that stink of grease and armor sweat
This panel only it's the Feisty Five + Ceroba and Clover
which ones are which
I think moray is the gay at least
Clover is the Fire Power
Ed is the Power
Moray is the Gay
Mooch is the Bastard
Ace is the Guy With No Ears
Starlow is the Sissy
and Ceroba is the Awesome
Together they make Goat Slaiyers (Asgore would be the Troll King)
So "Tucked In" is basically confirmation that Kanako is the amalgamate who tucks Frisk into bed right
The amalgamate overworld sprites don't reflect how they actually look most of the time anyway
It's the only one that doesn't get an explanation and is left alone, it's also the one that you see in the bath
Extremely hard reaching to make a connection considering Kanako never actually tucks anyone in, its Ceroba who did.
Saying that song is actually meant to be her theme doesn't make sense either because Kanako's theme is literally just named Kanako.
It does use Kanako's leitmotif from her regular theme though
>undertale fan
>doesn't know characters can have one more theme and leitmotifs can tie multiple songs to one character
Is this even possible?
a daring alteration
damn she's so fricking cute
She's so adorable I want to boop the snoot, smooch the snoot and hug the cute foxmilf!
See you all tomorrow.

In my experience, the loathing and dread usually returns after a while. I have learn to become happier though, and I hope you can do the same.
