Relics were the absolutely worst addition to 4U. They made the game irrelevant if they were perfect. 140 gquests were stupid too, literally don't get hit once or you failed it for everybody. Terrible system and I'm glad they moved beyond it, but I did love seeing all the colors of DS. Purple especially looked right, at LV3 it shone like a demon light.
Weapons respond to how you use them. Think of it like your backhair when shown a scary picture. It stands up when threatened. That's what the back end of the DS represents, unbridled fury and fear.
Now, what wonderful thing shall I craft with this? Yukumo Purehammer 3 would give me huge power right away to handle high rank and guild low rank but I might want to invest it into a more endgame-suitable weapon, like Wyvern Strife.
Use it on something that's useful right now. Once you get to high rank the drop rate of Plates increases significantly so you can get those end-game suitable weapons easier at that point. Or make the higher rank version outright, if it allows that, though that might cost like 2 mantles or something dumb, I remember 3U.
Just do Plain Dangerous, 5% A and B rewards.
Man, I really miss alternative drop rate quests. It gave those quest an actual reason to exist. Nowadays drop rates are all the same everywhere.
for me? its this bad boy. sad its never returned outside of relics in 4U

AH HAHA HAHAHA YOP
how do the spikes fit back into the sheath
You just don't obviously. If you sheathe your LS you aren't hunting
No Black person don't give me your fricking mental gymnastics. I am asking about the actual physics of this goddamn sword and I want an ANSWER.

>Think of it like your backhair when shown a scary picture
Yeah okay but
1.- My back is not hairy
2.- I'm not a scaredy homosexual
Look at how the outside of the sheeth is broken down to where there are no spikes
>Look at how the outside of the sheeth is broken down to where there are no spikes
That would make sense if there wasn't rope tied around it.
When the spikes are bathed in enough blood they retract, it is the only way to re-sheath the weapon.
How do you put it back in the sheath?
The first (and last) time that a hunting horn wasn't just competetive, but optimal. What a monster of a weapon.
Your Lao Shan tail sever proofs?
Well fellas, I'm off to hunt, uh, Lagia and then Dinovaldo and then Zinogre so I can finish my low rank mixrath comfort set.
>Dinovaldo but not Jinouga
Come on, anon.
I'm going to blow Kushala Daora's brains out. It's not going to be pretty.
I just want a good looking understated katana..
Yeah. That's the stuff.
I used it a bit but the color didn't mesh well with any of my favorite armor
>spoiler
That's a damn shame. I'll always have fond memories of the Eager Cleaver line.
GOTCHA b***h
