A 1200 dollar PC is pretty much future-proof these days.
Besides, most games on PC go on sale almost every other month.
And it's not like you can't pirate whatever you want.
Console games also go for sale at dirt cheap after enough time, like every Ubisoft game more than a year or two old is $10 or less in every sale
