It's called occupation. Baseball by the Nips is way cooler though.

From what I understand they literally didn't have any team sports or ball sports until baseball was introduced by an American, it was all martial arts and things like that. So you can see why it was a revelation

Why? I mean outside of "Place" vs "Place, Japan""

You jest but i have a good amount of comments on those comedy central clips from the show and many people say Beavis is nice, precious and wholesome, so you may be onto something there

nah, I'm at least half-serious. If memory serves Mike Judge also commented on this somewhere. I think the letters they read out in the christmas special were from real people and that he said something to the effect that they got a shitload of letters from female viewers who thought beavis was cute. not that he'll ever score, but still.

I wonder if this easter egg is present in the Japanese PS1 version.

Beavis isn't necessarily a bad kid, he's just easily influenced. There's a certain innocence to him.

It kinda fluctuates depending on the joke, like in the recent reboot where Beavis hallucinates a dumpster fire telling him to get in shape and do his homework instead of being an arsonist.

Both are a lot more eloquent in the newer seasons, they are pretty funny still

He's also noticeably nicer to people. Butthead is a piece of shit but Beavis, when left to his own devices, is pretty friendly.

Unplayable without a mouse - but this game supports mouse attachment apparently

The constant loading makes it more unplayable than lack of mouse, especially when you've played the PC version.

i'd say it's because they wanted a separate standalone story but mr. anderson is in it. still it works really well. near-perfect pacing

I wonder if the port wasn't released in USA because of Sony's policy against 2D games

        Anonymous

IIRC that policy was only for the early years of the console. BnB had more longevity in Japan and the series was already off the air in America by the time the PS1 port came out.
