Too bad you're full by the time you get to cake 3 and it's all the fricking same.
I felt so duped playing to level 50 back during ARR pre hw and realizing it's less of an mmo and more of a jrpg with private chats
They made the game worse in my opinion. Removing cross class skills and simplifying jobs like WHM was moronic. I'm not spending 8 to 14 bux a month to hope they fix their shit game.
I fricked off to OSRS and had way more fun with what's actually an MMO
When are people going to stop pretending HW's main story was good? The journey to the churning mists was horrible and vanilla Thordon is the biggest wet fart of a fight in the game.
heavensward was the only decent expansion because they axed the godawful 1.0/2.0 scions besides alphinaud and the cast was actually enjoyable. scenery was varied and interesting, excellent trials and alexander was fun. everything since has ranged from meh (stormblood and endwalker) to okay (shadowbringers)
Except the first few cakes are kinda old. They've dried out and occasionally you'll get that bite that has a little semblance of moist but it's quickly whisked away by the taste of stale.
You will never do all the content in modern MMOs because every expansion makes some prior part of it obsolete. Even if you find yourself a group of friends to run around with, sooner or later you're going to run into some kind of situation where the game expects a larger group of players to engage with, and there will be no interest in that event outside of your group.
Anyone else feel like the dialogue in XIV is overly obtuse? Not even just characters like Urianger who speak in olde English but even normal characters just seem to speak in circles in ways that are really not condusive to telling a story.
Literally nobody on the bottom.
Replace the cakes with steaming turds and it's correct
Replace the top half of the cakes with steaming turds except for Stormblood which is an entire cake.
now have a female girl eat all of them
"Play the patch" syndrome is cancer

happy for you then anon. still a shame you quit before you got to the good part
Keep in mind I skipped every cutscene and hated the cast of characters.
