vintage story is the best for stacking ingots. minecraft doesn't even let you do that without a mod
that said, actually getting ores in vintage story is a headache in and of itself because it insists on forcing you to grid-prospect to find where they spawn, and then tunnel-mine until you find the vein
I'm too smoothbrained and have a zoomer attention span so all I've stacked so far is peat and firewood.
go download a mod to wallhack vision the ores then

you can make 1000s of ingots and fill vaults with them, and there's in the order of like 20-something different metals and alloys in the game, not counting mods.

If you have stacks of materials laying around in boxes and not actively in transit on belts or trains you need to step up your factory.

I get it, but the fun in factorio isn't just looking at your amassed wealth in stacks. You look at it as it travels, thousands of materials flowing from one machine to the next and when they are used then more are extracted to replace them. Its like stacks of goods doing dances rather than just sitting in a pile.
