There is no reason for Atlus to make its games so satanic

So with all of these new games coming out form the company Atlas I decided to check them out. Those being the new person and the SMT games that I always hear so much about.

The games were pretty cool until I started to read the. backstories of the summons. Some are literally modeled off of the demons from hell. I do more research and find that in one game you summon Satan. in another game you fight God.

I get that Japanese like to be edgy but there is no reason for this. Honestly I think that the game would be much better just using greek mythology stuff because stuff like this goes too far. What do you guys think? I think that the game would be much better just mythology from Greece and Rome.

Atlus has always been a satanic company. MEGATEN and Persona 1 and 2 had references to demons (Satanism) and now Pertroona 3, 4 and 5 appeal to trannies (Satanism).

    Is Gnosticism satanic?

Actually yes, it's an ancestor of manichaeism, and manichaeism is a human-hating, suicidal cult that transformed into the modern climate change movement for example.

Blaming gnosticism for climate cultists is like blaming Jesus Christ for Sarah Silverman.

Gnosticism loves humans though? Humans have the potential to reach true freedom and divinity, they just have to break free of the chains tying them to a broken world.

It's not like Buddhism where "Everything bad", it's just that this world is bad, and there's a better world waiting for those who can escape this flawed reality.

Jesus really doesn't appear in the SMT franchise

That's all it boils down to. You can't take it too seriously when you are conversing with giant penis chariots.

My friends parents are Christian to the point of being crazy. They hated Final Fantasy for the fact it used magic. What they never knew was the connections to religion. That was tame compared to SMT. Persona 5 uses actual angel names and depictions, while committing non-stop blasphemy and heresy.

Why is it done? You have corporations that are already evil in their own right, so seeing it promoted by them just makes it that more disgusting.

People cry about censorship, but stuff like this is why it exists in the first place. Do people really need to splice Angels and demons? No.

Yes. Red flags abound in modern gaming. What's popular tends to bring up issues like this, especially when there are millions of dumb fans promoting it. The occult background of SMT was always stupid, because these are Japanese people far removed from Christianity. They believed in demons in ancient Japan, while not believing in God.

Because it's a really cool aesthetic, that's really it.

        >while not believing in (your) God
That's how you sound. Either enjoy the spectacle, or stop wasting your energy shitting on someone else's and go build your own.

It works more in the type of stories that SMT tell rather than nu-sona, I’ll give you that. When the narrative is all about the worst of mankind coming out in dire scenarios, it only makes sense to depict them as evil entities of their own creation. Persona rarely has any of that, so they’re more out of place

Anno put a lot of surface-level Kabbalah shit in Evangelion because it looked cool. Common Hylic insectoid mindset endemic to the Jap race.

    Call 1-800-BAWW nerd.
I've only ever played mainline SMT, so I have no idea how thematic the occult stuff is to Persona after 2.
I'll accept your whining regarding Megaten if you play, like, and spread the good word about Dragon Slayer II: Xanadu and/or its remake Revival Xanadu.

The main series is literally about recruiting demons and angels to fight, then side with godly or devilish factions to progress the story.

The persona series is just le teen anime slop that reuses the monsters designs for the battles.

Getting mad at demons in a series about summoning demons is like going to a beach and complaining about the sand getting in your toes.
