Halo 3 was the best online multiplayer fps experience ever, but Halo 2 was the better game overall.
Nah I actually think Halo 2 was better in every way so you’re wrong
Just a reminder late millenial halo babies have no business discussing video games and you are the cancer shitting up this board. It's just embarrassing.
Yeah probably not. It's weird to think about how there's such meh releases these days that sell way more than something like this because there was significantly less people playing games back then.
>jenga towers >seven chambers >fat kid >the ninja warrior maps >roller coasters >hide and seek
how was forge so ahead of its time and no other franchise has been able to replicate it since. The only thing close is source engine games with surf, bhop, deathrun but it all required different tooling
halo 2 had better btb maps, halo 3 had absolutely revolting btb maps. halo 3 mp was also heavily carried by forge and it hasn't had soul like that since then. every iteration of forge improves upon the fundamentals but the assets are ugly and soulless. infinite's assets are so generic you can literally make a 1-1 nuketown recreation in it. while it's cool, it has no soul.
what is all the seethe for? babby zoomers that missed Halo in its prime and are mad they'll never touch anything with that level of SOVL in their lives??
Before DOOM, pc games required more thought like point n click adventures, text adventures, RTS, strategy, puzzle games
Then DOOM came out and bought in a younger dumber audience that wanted constant action and instant gratification with no critical thinking or logic puzzles
>an FPS that aims for you >slow low friction movement >slow floaty gravity >no weapon mechanics at all >no movement mechanics (even doom has strafe running) >cover shooter (take damage, hide. reload, hide. no level resources to promote exploration) >complete garbage level design (copied and pasted halls, expansive areas of nothing)
I feel genuine sorrow for consolegays who's first and defining experience of the FPS genre was Gaylo. It was a step down in every single regard from other titles of its era.
The only positive thing I have to say is the AI was good.
The age of true videogames is over
Just a reminder late millenial halo babies have no business discussing video games and you are the cancer shitting up this board. It's just embarrassing.
a milliennial made that image
Seethe shitskin zoomer
I'm an early millenial so I know exactly what kind of cancer your kind has been to shooters and video games in general.
also my first fps was quake 2 and i still love halo so get fricked whiny homosexual
>thinking any halo is a good game
Lmfao at your life.
Quake 2 was the slowed down version of quake for people that couldn't handle the first.
>older than millennial
>seethes over millennials
>posting on Ganker
lmaoing at your life
This (You)?
[and surely many more]
lol he confirmed it is him
It's my duty to make fun of you larpers. Being a halo fan is embarrassing.
what's embarassing is
>having a duty to Ganker
>on Ganker
Not really. I see people liking halo while I'm taking a shit. I make fun of them. Simple as.
This is the guy who is making fun of you while you and the boys play duck hunt on foundry on a thursday night
>duck hunt on foundry
og
what a sad existence
people who were 10 years old when CE came out are in their 30s now gramps.
Halo 3 was the best online multiplayer fps experience ever, but Halo 2 was the better game overall.
3 was better in every conceivable way
Nah I actually think Halo 2 was better in every way so you’re wrong
well I don't so you're actually the one wrong
Based, I still have hopes that one day we'll get the true halo 3 that staten wanted
Yeah probably not. It's weird to think about how there's such meh releases these days that sell way more than something like this because there was significantly less people playing games back then.

Anything that gives players agency takes away from the publisher's agency
sadly, it's far too late for the average joe to do anything about it now
A generic western console FPS?
Those are still being made by the dozen
halo 2 had better btb maps, halo 3 had absolutely revolting btb maps. halo 3 mp was also heavily carried by forge and it hasn't had soul like that since then. every iteration of forge improves upon the fundamentals but the assets are ugly and soulless. infinite's assets are so generic you can literally make a 1-1 nuketown recreation in it. while it's cool, it has no soul.

HALO ruined FPS for several years
DOOM and FPS ruined PC gaming, your point?
>DOOM and FPS ruined PC gaming
with this bad and contrarian of a take, you need to have evidence
Before DOOM, pc games required more thought like point n click adventures, text adventures, RTS, strategy, puzzle games
Then DOOM came out and bought in a younger dumber audience that wanted constant action and instant gratification with no critical thinking or logic puzzles
>point n click adventures, text adventures, RTS, strategy, puzzle games
all those genres flourished for many more years after doom was released.
as expected you're trolling
Halo spoiled FPS and the market has swayed to milking consumers for all they're worth, leaving this new generation envious.

>t. milliennial that was 9 when he played it, loved it, now turns on it once he learned all the Ganker buzzwords
FEAR is better
You're coping.
