The devs of this game are trannies and very LGBT friendly. Does the game look bad, despite that fact? No, unless you hate the low poly artstyle, anime, or have something against indie titles in general. Examples like that quickly taught me I should focus on the product and hobby first, instead of the political inclinations of gbe creators. Paquerette Down The Bunburrows is another example of a cute yet excellent puzzle indie game made by trannoids. Sure there were some weird jokes you didn't have to pay attention to, but the core gameplay remained enjoyable all the same. If you let yourself be filtered out of genuinely good experiences due to bias that has no relevancy, it's a shame.
Altough I'll say this. There's a difference between not wanting to buy a game because you know the publisher and studios hired "certain people" to meet quotas first and make the game to meet investor guidelines, and indie furries/homosexuals/trannies/Black folk making games in their spare time.

Well the "I won't!" breaks the flow immediately. Because he's supposed to be saying that, as well as all the stuff next to him. So you're just confusing things by putting a speech bubble over the one phrase, but not over the other phrases too. I would remove the speech bubble entirely, since you don't want a big ugly bubble over the whole text.
Shrink and move the "I won't" down and to the left of his face, so it's like he's muttering it instead. Then take the points you want to be prominent, and make the text higher up, so your eye naturally goes directly from the top left down to the first point.
Surround all dialogue with quotation marks. Each individual point getting their own quotes. So it's understood that they're not a whole paragraph, but individual statements. And make the text on the left a little larger too.
"then try it anyway" needs to be moved to the top of the right panel. Because all that other shit just breaks the flow entirely. After reading that, then they can read all the benefits.

Yes, players have always needed to meet the developer half way, for pretty much anything. Immersion requires you let yourself be immersed, getting meaning out of the story or plot requires you to invest in it and take it seriously, pay attention etc, getting meaningful moments from gameplay similarly requires attention and effort
The problem is with the new age of millennial streamers combined with a generation of ADHD zoomers, they refuse to do this, and thus refuse to ever enjoy a game that requires them to actually engage with it. Streamers are just ignoring the game to be an "entertainer" and thus ruining any immersion or focus on the game, zoomers are just too addicted to tiktok and shorts to ever commit to anything
