If you're going to be a pedant about what are unrestricted legendaries, restricted legendaries, mythicals, and ultra beasts then there are a lot of types that aren't represented in them. There are still no Normal, Dark, Bug, or Poison type unrestricted legendaries. There are still no Bug or Poison type restricted legendaries. There are still no Ground, Dragon, Bug, Poison, or Ice type mythicals. There are still no Fairy, Ground, Ice, Water, or Normal type ultra beasts.

Also there is a pretty big thematic overlap between the fly and the mosquito, because most flies also cause death by transmitting infectious diseases via biting (like the sleeping sickness). A creature that can cause death on its own like a spider or scorpion is probably a better representation of death, or alternatively one of those moths that have a skull pattern on their back.
