The game is really boring. The main quest is inane and all of the base building gameplay feels half done like how they still haven't made it so floors don't clip
As flawed as it is no game provides that sort of sandbox escape to come back to these days. Yeah there's other space games but all take a giant grind to get anywhere interesting whereas NMS it's just a matter of looking and choosing what you find and like. What really kept me around is the devs not giving up on it. I can still expect new FREE (actually free) content years later unlike trash such as cyberflop
I'd wait for it to dip below the 20$ mark, bought it back in 2018 at arround that price and it was still too high at the time. With the new updates I'd consider it worth now.
>Open inventory, defaults to Starship >Do things >Open inventory, defaults to Multitool >Do things >Open inventory, defaults to Starship (out of range)

worth?
frick no
If you are into collecting stuff and exploring infinite procedural generated stuff is worthy
yeah idk. those are nice bonuses but i'm struggling on finding the real value of the game.

annoyances the game
I have all most 500 hours in thus game only other gane I have more time in is planetside 2
>no free slots in suit inventory
The game really needs some form of local inventory storage (not including starships or freighter).
I suppose that's what storage containers are but even they're tied into freighter storage anyway
Why is Subnautica so much more entertaining despite also being a game where you just go around and collect shit and build vehicles on a time limit?
I don't understand the main quest explain it to me please
>Thermal protection failing
>Build wooden shack.
>Temp drops to 19c inside.
