Why would I care what the majority of the fanbase (aka the reason why the games are rancid feces now) thinks about these starters?
I still have no idea what they were thinking with Emboar.
The design is one thing, but the type is one of the worst cases of failing to read the room I've ever seen in a video game dev.
It’s like how torchic was designed off people who buy baby chickens but throw them out when they grow up. People buy baby pigs and then they become full-sized nightmares most people can’t handle.

it's the gen 6+ designs that suck. chesnaught and decidueye are okay but the rest feel fake

It's a shame that they often drag Serperior down with them.

Serperior is still the best though, such a smug snake
I am honestly fine with all of these. They don't stand out as much as Gen 1-4, but I like them.
