I think the saddest part of these games is that this is time and resources that could have been spent making new games instead, that's my main gripe with remakes, I think people who argue that remakes exist in some kind of vaccum are either dumb or dishonest
I don't think capcom can create any good games anymore, thats why they remake these games in the first place

They all play significantly different from the originals, what's the problem? Besides, RE2 and RE8 came with their own side-game that no one cared about (Resistance and RE:Verse), so it's not like the output has diminished

co-op shit sucked yes and it's missing the cool roundhouse kick but even with all these flaws it's still fun as frick and a million times better than any other RE game
It’s basically Resident of duty, the memes are the only thing that saves it from being forgotten. It fails as a horror game and fails as a straight up action game the co-op is the only redeeming feature.

I do appreciate some things like the gore is really good in Demake 2 no idea why they heavily toned it down it in 3 and 4
Demake is so bad that it feels more like a remake of RE5 with mechanics from RE6, unbelievable how low standards have gone.
And RE8 is the kind of game that makes starfield look good.
