Most games sell multi millions in their first week/month/year and are eventually forgotten but DD has been around for over a decade and steadily grown its fanbase to sell 3 times its original release
I avoided this because I thought it was a western game for a long time, and also because the title is generic and I got it mixed up with Dragon Age. Got it for the PS3 recently for dirt cheap, and it seems interesting from the first hour or so.
They make mid shit with bad maingame campaigns all the time
But they literally are in the process of making a game like it.

I don’t mind the non-anime visuals, it looks fine. It’s more so that I have no trust in western devs.
One of the few games that disappointed me simply because the game map was way too small and there weren't nearly enough areas to explore.
