I've got a feeling nobody ITT is interested in talking about the gameplay, which was easily the most disappointing thing about the game. I was looking forward to this game, but it's filled with questionable design choices and awful balance. What a shame.
As far as combo-focused beat 'em ups go, I'm looking forward to this indie one called "Project Heat". I have no idea when it will come out, but it looks fun. Hope it's better than SZX.

Based, I'll be keeping an eye on this. Hopefully it's not one of the many indie projects I keep track of that go nowhere.
It's very messy, to say the least. The combat itself is fun, but the enemy design is not great, and the overall balance of the game is legitimately awful. It gets to a point where it just stops being fun and becomes bullshit.
The whole game is incredibly difficult in a bad way because of terrible game design. I just didn't enjoy myself all that much.
>Isn’t the story about 2 homos?
is this true?
is there proof of this?
i was interested in this but my interest will drop if they shoved some dei stuff into it
The artist being a troony is a 100 percent fact. I watched a video review and the guy in the video was praising the gay romance. I didn’t look any further into it
I still don’t understand the mind process required to actually buy the Slave Zero IP, which probably cost pennies since it is an old unexplored brand that had just one game, to make a new game that looks nothing like Slave Zero but is set in the same world, which begs the question: why? I don’t recall Slave Zero’s setting being some unexplored gold mine someone had to secure the rights for to make a spin-off.
The original videogame was supposed to be a lot different from what was actually released and be a more proper representation of that period when america fell in love with anime and be stylized in the style of akira mixed with something like HR geiger artwork, the story and setting was supposed to be darker and more gritty too but the publisher insisted on something more mech warrior like
This game is based on the original concept and concept art for the first game
>No clue, shooting for sometime next year but im one guy (plus a contract musician)
I see. I'll be keeping an eye on the game. Hope everything goes well.
There's something annoying about your input reader. Or it's my arcade stick. I feel like my inputs keep getting eaten, doing a forward jump keeps coming out as a neutral jump unless I'm very deliberate with my inputs, some of the attacks don't seem to be coming out either. It doesn't feel fun to play at all but I can see the potential. Hopefully you can fix this stuff before you release the game otherwise I wouldn't pay a cent for it.
What is it now?
Judging from the last thread, Ganker is mad there are men who look like Alucard in this game.
making shitty turd sequels to equally shitty games that no one cared about 20 years ago?
WHY NO, THEY INDEED CANNOT!
>KILL EVERY FASCIST ON THIS FRICKING TRAIN
that's when I quit
make your own game with your own political inserts and i'd play it you fricking miserable loser
I wouldn't.
Frick you, him and them. Politics in games can be fleshed and not cringeworthy and shoehorned. You just need to try.
I'll make a political statement.
>Yes Mr. Sanders. I will.
I would be put in jail in most European countries.
sexy looking game. cool artwork, cool designs.

yes we're not interested in talking about the bad gameplay where you just spam buttons
Why can't someone just make Panzer Bandit again, they knew how to make combo beat-em-ups...

The art guy is a literal troony too

I was initially interested because I really like the whole cyberpunk biomechanical armor thing, but the gameplay looked kind of one note.
Art is all over the place in this game, fricking mixel shit
Another pozzed garbage bites the dust.

Man I'm not selling anything, its a free demo
advertising your game as having no virtue signaling is a form of virtue signaling
Hey, this is actually pretty fun, anon. When is the full release coming out?
No clue, shooting for sometime next year but im one guy (plus a contract musician)
youre right, i just wanted replies

I see. I'll be keeping an eye on the game. Hope everything goes well.
hey man I'm cool with virtue signalling regardless so I'll put it on the list
I'll be keeping an eye on this. Don't you dare disappoint me...

That's interesting, I've been doing the vast majority of testing on either pad or keyboard, That's now on my list of things to look at, thanks
A remake of the first game would be amazing
Don't like how it went from mecha shooter of the first game to a beat 'em up.
I Like the look of it but I'm good.
