I don't think we ever see any actual children at Hidden Valley. And given that they retreated there after the whole thing with Elijah and Helios-One, it might make sense that there are no young children among them. Unless Elijah had fans in the single digit age range that he figured would be useful in a fight to bring along on his little escapade, that ALSO survived the sudden withdrawal from Helios-One.

The show will have a severely cynical take on Brotherhood of Steel in the show. Out of the Haves and Have Nots, Brotherhood will definitely be portrayed as the haves on the show and punished for it
