Leon is about preptime with him training his team ahead of time with different movesets to counter his next opponent.

Lance should have gone for variety instead of only Dragons. It would have been a great opportunity for him to debut Aerodactyl, instead of Hydreigon. Diantha famously owns a Mega-Gardevoir, bringing Hydreigon was asking for losing to it. It's a shame Cynthia has been the only one shown to own and rotate different Pokémon on her team (her BDSP Porygon-Z or her anime Kommo-o, for example). Lance could have brought his Stadium Tyranitar, Arcanine or Kangaskhan
