Are you supposed to blast the 4 pillars or just zerg him? It takes so many turns to blow them up. Is this fight even doable without Yurgir? Strategists only.

Just did this couple of hours ago. Couldn't believe its allowed to cast this shit on him with 100% hit chance and it actually lasts 10 turns

blow the pillars one by one with a guy with a big fricking hammer or some sorcerer while you deal with raphael and his buddies, I shot through those morons with crawler mucus poison + multitarget arrows and they all got paralyzed and destroyed
Freeing the dwarf b***h makes this fight way easier. She can use divine intervention for a big heal and other cool shit. She also can banish Yurgir without a save if I remember correctly. And yes, zerg the pillars first.

The endgame fights are shit but generally, act 3 is good, but obviously it has some major issues.

Use a Cleric. CC one of the Cambions. Use your OP Summon and rush down the adds.
a level 12 fighter with haste just mows those adds down, there was really no point in cc'ing anything. just took a couple turns to kill all the pillars and Hope nearly exploded herself when that thing happens
I had a harder time with the House of Grief fight until I figured out that the doorways leading up to the main room are very narrow and it's easy to jam them up with free damage that everything has to run through because of the darkness spam.
Reminder that 3.5 rules hellfire warlock let you summon pit fiends (Balrogs basically) that would assrape a whole party of Raphaels. Frick this 5e lvl12 babby fest
You have so many ways, you can use hold on him and that lets everyone crit and hit him 100% chance, combine that with a good damage build, its an easy fight, the ads are just annoying and easy to take care of whenever you want, but optimally you wanna kill raphael first and if you have the damage output, you can kill him in less than 2 turns.

better to have him on your side than raphael, plus he can fight for you in the end fight against the absolute
You could straight up Command: Grovel him and his entire guard and they'll drop kneeling to the ground the entire fight
I killed everyone but him and then focused fire on him. Didn't destroy the pillars

Dont forget you can get free legendary from hope by using her ability, might aswell if its an easy fight for you.
Skill issue. Blackhole the Cambion's, AOE them down with sorc/wizard. Monk/bludgeoning damage on pillars. Heal with Hope and Shart.
Yurgir's main job is to be a distraction. Kill the minions, blast the pillars, kill the boss. Have Hope use her Divine Intervention then reload once you realize what happened.
