wait I'm thinking of Trish, she looks like shit. Lady doesn't look as good as her 3 renders though, idk what they were thinking with those model scans. Nico is cute though.

Trish is supposed to be Avril Lavigne, the fact that Itsuno fricked this up is unforgivable.

Nice headcanon bro
>moron forgets about all these enemies being lifted from reboot >moron forgets about vergil and his doppel >moron forgets about nonexistent gravity >moron forgets moves being lifted from reboot
LOL
It is probably some moronic shit like antenora = chainsaw dolls (despite these enemies activate berserk mode on different circumstances) or how 5angelos have no airborne abilities or baphomet summoning ice pillar then it is literally witch from reboot.
The only true reboot-like enemy is fury, since it is clearly inspired by bdsm teleporting swordsmen from DmC.

~~*journalists*~~ wanted people to know they were hip and cool again. homosexuals wanted to try and fit in. then there's us old depressed 30-somethings that appreciate the short run DMC had that ended in 2005.
It's an okay game. But I wish these games would stick to one playable character. I love playing as Nero, and the revving mechanic. So why make me waste all my money on upgrading the other two homos? I'll never replay this game because the V missions were awful.
This but unironically. >only one true difficulty, instead of beating the game 3 times for le super hard mode >no character switching >no minigames >no S rank autism >enemies aren't punching bags
>At least you only need to beat it once for the hard mode.
So you need to beat it once for true difficulty, got it. And yet you said >>only one true difficulty, instead of beating the game 3 times for le super hard mode
Something doesn't add up.
Compare dmc devil hunter mode to sekiro charm.
Sekiro is well designed around charm, you take to much posture damage while blocking and can be easily broken.
While devil hunter mode is a joke.

>While devil hunter mode is a joke.
And? You said first: "sekiro has one true difficulty, no need to beat it 3 times"
Then, when I posted a kuro charm you admitted "ok maybe it does have multiple difficulties” and then you start comparing difficulty between games. Stay on topic.
>Sekiro is well designed around charm, you take to much posture damage while blocking and can be easily broken
No it doesn't. Enemies deal too much posture and health damage while you deal less turning early levels into a even bigger slog on charmless ng. >cheap damage
hp restoration upon deathblow and heal increase skills completely nullify it.

What am trying to say is, your first sekiro playthrough is fulfilling and challenging enough, you have experienced the game fully.
Other action games treat their "medium" difficulty as a tutorial mode for harder modes.
That's what I mean by having one true difficulty.
Charmless exists to make repeat playthroughs interesting.

Now that the honeymoon period has more than ended and I even took a break from the game, I started to think about DMC5 a bit more and I’m starting to realize that it’s not the great game I thought it was.
Let me preface this that everything I’m going to say applies to normal play, I’m not considering Stylish play in the equation for 2 reasons.
First I don’t have the level of experience or expertise to judge it from that standpoint.
Second I think Stylish play is somewhat separate from the game design, it’s all about what the system offer and as long as the system is good (base 5 is not but that’s another can of worms ) you don’t really need to care or focus on the game design or the rest of the game (to a degree).
The more I play older dmc games and other action games, the more a lot of things are become more apparent:
The game is piss easy. Outside of the difficulty setting not being as difficult as previous entries, executing every basic technique is extremely easy and most of the the time they are just given to you for free. While harder tech like reversals and inertia have been removed.
JC is now based on general proximity to the enemy instead of hitbox and as a result is easier to execute. Add to this that gravity is way more forgiving and somewhat resets when you do an action in the air,and the entire thing translate in being able to stay in the air with minimum effort and without having to think about the properties of the moves you are using to do it.
Parries produced by clashing swords with the enemies are extremely lenient and are just given to you.Furthermore you have so many moves that have an enormous amount of active frames that let you “cheat the system” and automatically parry every hit without having to think. This means that fighting enemies like Sin Scissors, Furies etc becomes way less exciting once you understand that you can just spam a basic string with Cerberus and parry everything with little to no issues. It makes you feel cool yes, but that feeling is not earned like in previous entries, it’s just (again) given to you.
Why is Ganker filled with so many Capcom worshiping homosexuals? All of their recent games are completely phoned in slight iterations on decade old games or literal remakes of even older games and all you homosexuals have to say about it is >at least it's not worse
it's a great game that's why
Capcom troony marketing. They made a bunch of memes for zoomers to consume
How did it suck? It's great, only the characters look a bit uglyfied compared to previous games
Lady gets naked and Nico is hot.
Lady looks worse in this than in 1
wait I'm thinking of Trish, she looks like shit. Lady doesn't look as good as her 3 renders though, idk what they were thinking with those model scans. Nico is cute though.
Nico is one of the hottest game characters in the last decade. I love her sexy accent.
For me it's blonde Nico.
Post it.

KESH FURST

Oh no
Why does it suck in your opinion?
It plays like DmC 2 with the legacy control scheme slapped onto it.
In what way is it similar to DMC 2?
Remember when Donte could perform a grab attack on a weakened enemy?
Remember Donte weapon having an exceed?
Take an airhike moron.

What's with action games being obsessed with switching characters and minigames?
No wonder the genre is on life support.
DMC5 never had a chance, being released so close to the best action game ever, Sekiro. It's just the standard fare capcom slop.

I have beaten the game charmless + demon bell, it's still a good challenge with the charm.
At least you only need to beat it once for the hard mode.

Normies love Marvel shit, and didn't play the original games to know how insulting this game is to the people who actually care.
half of those lines are some of the best in the game, dude is moronic
it is decent action game but poor RPG game in terms of story, level game as well as boss fight.
>but poor RPG game in terms of story, level game as well as boss fight.
What.
Is this an AI post or has this guy never played DMC?
>It's a decent X game, but bad Y game for Z reasons.
Thank you for mathematically proving how dogshit this argument is.
Ah yes, the dmc series known for groundbreaking rpg mechanics similar to rpg greatest hits like fallout or icewind dale.
it's a game for edgy teenagers and reddit manteens, if you are not part of this audience, you will hate the game
