VS is just a glorified idle game for morons who can't handle the prospect of having to actually play a game so it just vomits out simple to make OP fusions that give the illusion you "figured it out" alongside the arcana that makes shit explode which keeps virtually anything away from you. It having ripped Castlevania assets and being written by that fat frick Jim Sterling sure doesn't help either in making it come off more than a lazy cashgrab game with no identity of its own, but hey, numbers go up and that obviously equals depth.
XBOX live arcade had a game called " I made a game with zombies in it!" And it was worth the $1 or whatever for the BGM. Just one long song, it's stupid.
This game is an awful genre for its entry. At least when I played it had 0 challenge or build customization, you basically just pair your weapon with its accessory and hold A or D (or just stand still really) until it is over.

Im already tired of Halls of Torment. Every build feels the same. Its not like 20MTD or Holocure where you can go in with the same Char/Weapon and end the run with a completely different build than your last run.
Also some of the abilities like lightning just feel insanely shitty and weak.

A game's difficulty is measured on its highest difficulty using all of the tools available to you in the base game.
Removing any of those are just optional challenge runs/modifiers.

Yeah I play brotato in many 15 minutes stretches and my ultimate goal is to D5 every character. Really good game for that.
