Because despite how much they've improved on it, the game they promised they still haven't been able to deliver. And it doesn't matter how much you polish a bait and switch, it's still a bait and switch.
You remember voice customization? Vehicle customization? Wall running? Public transportation? Joining gangs? Etc etc.
homies tryna rewrite history. This game launched like shit with missing features they promised. Does no one remember that happening? Did we all get mib memory wiped?
Try replaying it and the problems become apparent immediately. Series of theme park rides you travel to and from that never change and never get more exciting.
I'm on my second full playthrough because of the DLC, and the graphics looks nice but eveything is unexciting to do. Well, the DLC is at least interesting because it's new.
Also is completely right. wouldn't say it's a complete bait and switch but what I played didn't live up to the expectations they themselves set.
imagine paying for a prostitute who looked like this.
Every woman character in the game except for judy and panam (thankfully), and johnny's girl when she's younger, is ugly as sin.
It means "Theater" or "Cinema" in slavic languages but you can also say that in the sense that something is great, theatrical. Only people on the internet use it in that sense tho.
'we' never hated it
the trend riding zoomer morons of Ganker that just jump from game to game are not 'we'.
it's actually hilarious seeing idiots pretend like the game is a masterpiece now when I play it again and see that it's almost identical to what it was on release, minus some itemization/leveling changes. It's still buggy as hell, which I never minded, but the fact that every subhuman is now jumping onto it and pretending like it's a new game is so fricking telling, people have zero opinions of their own.
t. played the game on release and knew it was kino
i love this game, but my god was it the buggiest game i have ever played, there was not a single moment in this game that didnt have some sort of buggy shit.
Some examples include: frequent graphical glitches/textures not loading, bugged mission markers, physics objects freaking out, AI walking into cars/walls, cars/people popping in/out of existence, calling in my car and having it drop from the sky, have a drive by occur during a driving cutscene preventing the AI from continuing the scene, and worst of all, mission triggers not activating causing me to run around trying to figure out what the hell im supposed to do.
But besides all of that I really enjoyed this game, Johnny is a total bro.
You probably know this already but it's much better now. I'm still noticing some minor graphical gliches but nothing I don't expect from modern open world PC games. Haven't had anything that interrupts gameplay
Is it still Far Cry 2077 where you're pretty much railroaded to street kid after the first 20 minutes no matter what? Then it's still a piece of shit, frick off.
I must be one of the few people who hates this game for what it is and not for its bugs. I actually played it on release and finished without encountering practically any bugs. I hated it because of its shit story, shit characters, shit world building, shit city, shit gameplay, shit RPG features.
This game is the literal opposite of Witcher 3. W3 is beautiful and comfy, Cyberpunk is ugly and stressful.
its true the bugs were never the problem, there was always so many other things wrong with the game but the midwits never noticed and the trannies ignored.
Nah you're right. The story is so much shorter than The Witcher 3 too, and they basically lied about it being nonlinear or any choices mattering. This is basically the tradeoff for Keanu Reeves' stiff voice acting in this game.
never did, do hate this b***h though >I'm scared of becoming someone else >Waaah but you're always changing, every day, nobody ever remains the same...
okay listen here b***h. I did not mean in the way people change over time gradually, i mean a fricking chip in my head is deleting my personality
its fine. i only despise the cynosure segment, total bullshit, cant even kill the damn bot, the game suddenly turns into le spoopy horror game.shit its not even scary, just fricking frustrating
I don't hate it. I thought it was fine when I recently played it pre-2.0 and again at 2.0. I just drop off it though. Both cases you just become so overwhelmingly powerful that there's basically no challenge. It's like do I want instantly kill everything with sword, guns, knives, or hacks? It just snowballs even worse after.
I'm not looking for significant challenge but rather encounters that force variation or bosses that make you think differently. Walking into an area and jsut proceeding to pop every head like a grapefruit before they even know I exist gets old. Fast.
Pirated the game and playing it for the first time now, the city is beautiful, the combat is serviceable and character building is ok. But it seems like the game blows its load early since I haven't seen any other mission with multiple paths like the maelstrom deal. Also don't feel like the city justifies its massive scale... GTA breaks up the monotony of travel with npc frickery, random events, funny radio bits, cyberpunk just has a pretty city that you can look at but rarely touch.
there's more missions with multiple paths later on, it was one of the things i really liked aboout this game. but yeah outside of missions there really isnt anything youd really want to do in night city.
GOOD MORNING SIR
Pajeets like are being paid to shitpost on anything thats not SIRfield
Because the devs are israelites and liars
It always was, 2.0 made it ludo though.
It was good before, on 2.0 it's great.
9/10

sorry to hear your taste is simply shit anon
You don't sound articulate enough to enjoy a games story like this. Go back to your brain dead cod slop
its true the bugs were never the problem, there was always so many other things wrong with the game but the midwits never noticed and the trannies ignored.
>The bugs were never the problem
Man shut up. The game was a horrible mess at launch
you have to go back
Nah you're right. The story is so much shorter than The Witcher 3 too, and they basically lied about it being nonlinear or any choices mattering. This is basically the tradeoff for Keanu Reeves' stiff voice acting in this game.

because its a western rpg and its hip to hate really creative games
its fine. i only despise the cynosure segment, total bullshit, cant even kill the damn bot, the game suddenly turns into le spoopy horror game.shit its not even scary, just fricking frustrating

But Alien Isolation is also just ass.

It's not that it's bad, it's that it's only half as good as I wish it was.
>we

also, the game was always good if you didn't have a shit PC, but now it's great
