It’s a dating sim disguised as a strategy game, but this one is so brain dead a 4 year old could beat it, so it’s immensely popular with cumbrains

i was going to try it but if it's easy there's no point.
i was hope it'd be at least as hard as fire emblem, since i play the newer ones on maddening.
it's easy at the beginning but then they hit you with bastorias and eventually angel archers and angel knights, the difficulty rises steadily, then spikes, then levels to a relatively decent point where you would only be winning consistently if your teams are 5 levels higher than the enemy or are well optimized. You can farm xp but if you don't the game does feel nicely challenging, the xp well eventually dries up anyways cause characters get way less xp if they are 3-4 levels higher than the enemy or something like that. Story is simple but honestly I'm fed up with overcomplocated lore and subvertions, vanilla is good every once in a while.
that's just how I felt, if you are easily swayed by people saying game bad or game good then just stick to multi-player games and fotm
also the game has an 8 hour demo you moron, you can try it for 5 mins or end up liking it and maybe even buy the damn thing

It's really not. The supports are pretty subpar compared to Fire Emblem as far as how many conversations they are and whatnot. It's pretty fun, though.
