      ok

and somehow still almost nothing was added.
It's almost impressive how often they make big updates without actually adding content

        >almost nothing was added
yeah apart from massive changes to battles, campaign AI, character progression, a new weapon class and bunch of other shit yeah nothing at all was added

what exactly do you want from these updates? an entirely new game?

I boot it up like every 6 - 7 months.

did they add any actual content yet or is it still endless meaningless battles

What do you consider "actual content," because the battles are pretty important.

Actual stakes to the outcome of battles and territory changing hands
You can play for like 30 years in game and castles/forts get captured and fall and certain factions might get wiped out but it doesn't mean anything
Quests are all the same boring shit, having a good relationship with other npcs mean nothing, even if you're a the most powerful rogue warlord in the world you have to offer to join other gays they don't actively recruit you
It's just a lifeless unreactive game

            Something like this then?
The actual execution of quests is much better at in Bannerlord.
Also I fail to see how factions getting wiped out and kingdoms expanding is meaningless, that's the focus of mount and blade 90% of the time.

              >Also I fail to see how factions getting wiped out and kingdoms expanding is meaningless, that's the focus of mount and blade 90% of the time.
Because there's no actual change to the world or dialogue to accompany it
Same shit for killing major NPCs

There's definitely change to the world. Far as dialogue, I don't recall. Though, I don't recall that in Warband either because it just never registered much.

neither was there in warband, mount & blade is a sandbox roleplaying game, you're meant to use your imagination

                >Role-playing
Yeah I love roleplaying as the irrelevant mercenary guy, or the irrelevant mercenary guy, or the irrelevant mercenary guy
Or the king who does the same shit as the mercenary guy
Oh can't forget the gaggle of NPCs who all behave the same and your wife and clan who same the same shit as everyone else

Sorry I expect more than just a fricking battle simulator, why even have all the window dressing if it's irrelevant
Fricking Ck2 does a better job at nearly everything

It's not vaporware but they're definitely milking the early access model + Turkish government subsidies for all its worth.
    Every update it's
    >Changes stats of X troops
    >Reworked siege for Y town
    >Fixed bug in Z quest
    >Random multiplayer changes
Snails pace development with zero meaningful changes.

Because they started from scratch with bannerlord and magically forgot all the experience gained
And their staff didn't increase tenfold either am i right
