I couldn't even get it to run. Anytime I open the game its just a black screen.
It's not even a fricking game. This is a glorified VN.
Is that supposed to be a bad thing?
It was fricking boring
yeah
it's veneuzelan even, not japanese. fake game
and the writing is bad... ugh
Define bad writing
Its a shitty yuri game I think
The art is the only good thing about it. I have no idea why Ganker loved it so much.
You answered your own question. Art style goes a long way.
when you take off the rose-colored goggles va11halla really is kind of a shit game. it's poorly written and incredibly boring on repeat playthroughs. but the characters are fun and the atmosphere's comfy, so there's the guts of something really incredible here, it just wasn't assembled right the first time around. the devs seem to be gearing up to do more va11halla stuff in 2023, like that book(?) they just released, so maybe there's some cool shit on the horizon
the music is great, that's all that matters.
And it's dirt cheap to get in Japan.
2 CD set.
i'm only on the 4th day, meh i'm just passing the time. not sure if i'll finish it. it is comfy and that's what i'm looking for, mainly. yeah i just started playing it, you're right about the bad writing and the repetitive gameplay. but, it's imagination, i'll give it that. and really good music. just a chill i guess, like being at a bar
>he paid real money for a video game
lol lmao
found the ngereos
I'm Polish, so you're arguably right considering I come from a medieval shithole of yurop and being a slav am considered by polBlack folk a eauropean equivalent of a Black person
which is funny because your mixed race globohomosexual westoid country is an actuall Black personloving capital
Only your actions make you a Black person.
Poles are basically Germans.
case in point - I'm financially responsible (pirating everything I can when a pirated software I use doesn't come with any functional tradeoff)
so I'm a honorary German Pole
Polebros we stay winning
we are
>not pirating your games
ohhhh i think i get why people love this game. for all its flaws i'm starting to love it, too
LGBT tranime shit
Va11 Hall A is based for showing ordinary life of ordinary people in the cyberpunk dystopia.
Also OST is cool.
Yes, it kind of does. I like the idea and the atmosphere, but the execution was rather lacking. Still, it was worth the $5 bucks I spent on it.
Why does anime attract so much LGBT shit?
It didn't really feel inappropriate in VA-11 Hall-A. There was no in-your-face homosexualry, just matter-of-fact stuff that comes with the territory of a futuristic cyber dystopia. A lot of writers fumble the ball at this point because they treat shit that should just be normal at that time like it's a big deal. "Oh, you're a homosexual that likes men? Who cares?" The game takes place in a far enough future that these issues would be sorted out to the point that they're nothingburgers, and the writers hit the mark in writing that.
For me it was a very fun and comfy experience. The characters are pretty cool. The only bad thing is that it ends rather abruptly.
I think it could stand to use a couple of epilogue chapters just to pad things out a little bit since the devs probably won't ever come out with n1rvanna
>paying for games before playing
Sex with Dorothy
I found it really hard to beat this game because it just went on and on. I could really only do like a day at a time. Then I got the bad ending because I was off my payment by a ridiculously small amount (I think less than 10$). I still have not worked up the will to bother playing through it again. Practically puts me to sleep. I would frick the shit out of Jill, though
Same, but would rather frick the piss out of her instead
hot
The porn is decent and there is surprisingly much.
