Even less people will buy the second game considering the first one was completely abandoned in its first month and just sold a season pass and fricked off. Voice acting isn't a notable post-launch addition it's embarrassing to advertise that you had to add it later.
I unironically think that the Smite Toph crossover make more money than this entire game, even before considering losses / investment / gross profit.
Smash only works because it has heritage and reputation; you can't 'just make' a brand new competitor to it.
Toph was apart of the smite/avatar shit? I thought it was just korra and aang and frickin azula for some reason
They've done more over the years (Zuko, Momo and Iroh are also in too), Toph and Roku are just the most recent additions coming in a few weeks.
kids games and fighting games are two of the genres that can get away with rereleases of the same game so I think it might do well
I didn't buy the first game but I'm planning on getting this because it's actually launching with shit the first one should have had. I don't know if it's going to do better than the first one at all, though. Probably not.

I think it will sell less unfortunately. The announcement of the first game was kinda out of nowhere and the initial hype of a smash clone filled with characters from nick toons of my childhood was a cool idea (at least for me). It cant compete with the games releasing in October.
That said, i'm still looking forward to playing the game with my friends and trying out the Angry Beavers, El Tigre, and Vlad Masters. Crossing my fingers for Miko, Zuko, and Mikey Simon!
