As cool as it looks, can you imagine going through the campaign more than once? Depending on how slow it will be, I can't imagine people going through it more than once per league, or worse, once in total.

You can choose to chill at 100k dps going slow or you can choose to get more dps and going faster. There is no finish line, if you hate going fast then you stay at your power level. How is that not an option?

The skills wouldn't cancel on movement, they just cast as you are moving. The reason you need to cancel is because you can't cast and move with click to move, so you are locked into an animation. With WASD you could move and cast skills simultaneously and fluidly.
PoE1 requires wayy too much effort for the average person to learn and execute to get to the end game, even if they are following a build guide. PoE 2 is going to be Chris Wolcen's bastardized baby where he puts in all the little cancer shit he wants because he's made so much money and has so much funding from China so all he has to do is give all the QoL to the China servers like he already does and make it a fricking painstaking game for the rest of us. It's unironically a badly designed game with way too much bloat and requires multiple 3rd party apps/websites to be played effectively.

What was the breaking point for you? I quit when they made the flask changes and a host of other changes at the same time and changed mod names around for zero reason. I just can't bring myself to load up PoB again and install multiple filters per league depending on my stage of progression.
3.15 was definitely a turning point for the game, and it never really recovered in my eyes. What ever came after was more and more aids.
Not even sure what broke it to me exactly, but adding more iterations of slow that you couldn't strip down during the campaign, a new artificial currency scarcity and so on. It just added up the tedium, and the game doesn't have the same experimental freedom it used to have anymore.
Part of me thinks I should be measured in my expectations for this game but I just genuinely think it will be the greatest game ever created, I just can't help it

WASD movement is going to feel so good. They don't even realize how good, since they think people will still use mouse movement for things like melee.
Inquisitor Martyr, not too popular but it had the WASD option and basically it plays like a twin-stick shooter if you want it to, but with all the ARPG stats, gear, skill trees etc. The main point being you can physicallly move out of the way of attacks easily while still attacking. But the inclusion of doge roll disappoints because that generally means there will be shit that one-hits you or you die in a split second, which is not my preferred style. But so far it looks better than POE1 to me.

There's something about Grim Dawn that is the only arpg i have fun coming back to.
I'm a casual player in the sense i don't invest too much in these arpg and while i played all arpg. Only Grim Dawn and Titan Quest i ever finished and returned for more.

They added Guns and WASD movement to PoE2 with Mercenary, this will be my go-to class looks fun as frick.

The WASD is universal, can use on any class.

They literally lifted the dodgeroll exactly like it is from Elden Ring. If an enemy uses a projectile or a melee attack and you roll through it you will be invincible, but if the enemy uses an aoe or multi-hit attack you have to get out of that zone while dodging.
The onky difference is that there's no stamina/mana cost in PoE2
