Sounds like you couldn't beat it.
The game has scaling difficulty, a god mode and cutscene attacks. If you just want to see the credits it isn't hard.
Not to mention that it's easy to cheese it with stuff like high-kick spam and using YMK to quickly build god meter.

Yeah, but its a PS2 exclusive, so it's a 10/10 until the moment it gets ported to the PS4 or PC.

Might as well be PS2 still, since the PS3 can play PS2 games straight from the disc anyway. Now it's a coveted gem because it's not available on any modern platform.
