This is why most awards have the jury have the majority vote. As much as they can, have and will make bad decisions themselves, they are less swayed by blind fanboyism. Public votes will almost always go to the most popular, not the best.
That’s a lot of words for saying you’re a 12 year old
>they are less swayed by blind fanboyism
Eurovision always has a favorite before the singers even start singing. Maneskin winning because of public vote caught the people doing the coverage by surprise and they didn't know what to do kek
The Eurovision winner is already clear before the final 90% of the time because of the bookmakers. The coverage was just feigning surprise to keep some form of tension.
Anon most israelite awards the jury is told what to vote for and they vote for it.
israelite awards are rigged by design.
have a nice day
>Steam
yes it is
Wat. They stopped support a long time ago.
Pc is 100% normie now
can we all just agree that democracy just doesnt work
The average person is by definition, a midwit. Democracy ensures your country is run by midwit decisions for the rest of its cursed existence
True. Democracy is how we got Trump.
Who’s gonna tell him?
>can we agree on being ran by people that don’t agree with me
Democracy only works in homogenous all white societies
>Democracy only works when everybody agrees with each other
You don't say
homie America almost self destructed because of a civil war. The only reason it didnt was because the North was so morally superior to the South that they got boosted by every other nation on the planet at the time.
Do you even know your history? Moron. We shouldve hung you all to make sure your ideas werent inherited.
bait
>"homie"
Opinion discarded.
The North won because it wasn't an agrarian economy of slaves. It's morale conduct allowed the North to innovate and push for an industrial economy that didn't rely on slaves, that went on to outproduced the South as the war went on. But, the South almost won the war and was favored by international powers as cotton was an industrial material.
>mixed moron societies run by israelites
>democracy suddenly doesn't work
Wow what a shocker.
Indeed
gamers be like WE KNOW BETTER THAN THE DEVELOPERS LET US MAKE THE CHOICES WE KNOW WHAT'S GOOD
kek
rdr2 getting dlss and fsr support is great and all but I wouldn't really call that award-worthy and they stopped supporting rdr online a long time ago
games like Rust and DayZ have been going for almost a decade with continued support and active development. they have also been hitting their highest player counts of thier life. steam awards have never really been prestigeous. more of a survey then an award. people taking the piss out of it isnt really shocking and franky should be encouraged.
steamies are a joke
>Thinks.people weren't just clicking on shit for a badge
You stupid fricking moron
>NO Cyberfunk Bomb Rush
Wtf really.
RDR2 was fricking abandoned how are these morons winning anything
I voted for this. Figured all the other games, bar Deep Rock, were garbage and RDR2 was such a soulful passion project the labor of love put in during development still endures. I would've voted Deep Rock, because I quite like that game, but literally none of the updates were worth while.
>This game to this day is still getting new ontent after all these years
>these devs continue to nurture and support their creation.
It's because most people haven't played the other games, so they'll just vote for the slop they did play
all those games are very clearly dogshit.
TLOU doesnt even fricking have music
You cant remember a single track from it, be honest
Show us what you think is vidya music if this qualifies as no music. We must be about to be blown away
This track alone outdoes anything in TLOU
?si=t7x9_6NveK59svVg
Anon this is just sound design to assist gameplay. No one wants to listen to this on their earbuds.
kneel, fricker.

This is good. It doesn’t show me how TLOU is inferior though, these genres can’t really be compared and this obviously can’t be used most games. The second one sounds a bit like a TLOU2 track at the start though.
you haven't even posted any examples of good music from tlou
it's obviously bait
ahem
Very niche and different, seemingly combat music so you’re not showing me how it tops themes that TLOU used (and I can’t really see it being used in a game cutscene, or any section of a story game)
Well I can’t choose. If you really played TLOU (pretty sure you didn’t) the first thing you get is the main menu, and you don’t have soul if it doesn’t hit you
I'm surprised there are naughty dog employees in this thread defending this.
Honestly, it's just the main guitar theme played over and over and over..
lol
lmao
Ok now this one is probably a real joke done to laugh at bethesda right?
Probably. Contraband Police should've won.
is that the streamer bait fotm where the guy pulls a guy over and asks "hey can i see your trunk" cause that shit looks incredibly lame and boring
like farming simulator or something, why not make a game where you have to fricking do taxes next? and i don't mean in a tongue in cheek way like papers please, i mean a real simulator where you're a tax man and you gotta do them taxes
I'm starting to think a majority of gamers might actually be moronic.
Anon you are the moron you missed the point entirely. People just clicked on shit they owned to get a steam badge. That's it.
I tried to click on dustforce dx though and then gave up on voting when it didn't let me. How were tlou and rdr2 eligible for voting?
Are these real? Shit was 100% botted
>Starfield
>innovative
How is TLoU music-wise?
I'm sure it's not the best of those, but wondering anyway.
see
this is basically spot-on
Well, if you refuse to play it, which I can’t understand as there’s just a handful of must-play games: the HBO show literally used the same soundtrack so that’s all you need to know.

YOU ARE THE PERFECT DRUG

THE PERFECT DRUG
this was the hypest shit for a final boss, it felt like I was really in a 240P AMV from 2007
Baldurs Gate 3 is pretty much the best CRPG ever made so yeah this was obvious
>aldurs Gate 3 is pretty much the best CRPG ever made
be more subtle
t. Didnt even attempt Tactician, let alone Tactician Solo
De not fan of BG3, but the competitors would never stand a chance
>Darktide not even nominated
I swear this year had to be a giant troll, it's all ridiculous
>RDR2 abandoned over 2 years ago
>wins the award for continued support
>most innovative
>Bethesda churning out the same Bethesda slop as over 10 years ago
It was it just didn't win shit.
easily the worst of the short list
what? tlou does have an amazing soundtrack and it's definitely better than the dogshit in that list
I only distinctly remember the music in one thing I played last year
2023?
The Silent Majority does not have Gankers back
yes

Yes, PC gaming is a joke
You have to finally admit that Steam have to deal with a lot of Xbox and Sony refugees now.
RDR2 and Space the final boredom were clearly jokes. PC gamers are just too witty for the average normie on this site.
For me, it's Good Eatin':
corporate america wins again.
>Game people actually played won a popularity award
This sounds fine but I think it should've been nominated for Best Visual Style instead.
Most of the awards were clown votes. Starfield got Most Innovative game.
You'd be surprised how many people have shit tastes
tbf Tlou was a failure on Steam
>steam offers stickers for voting
>people vote for the things they've seen a lot of
Simple as that
i voted for disney speedstorm
I don't remember any music from that game except the main theme, but admittedly that leitmotif is REALLY fricking good.
lol
>pre-civil rights movement depictions of party views
Invalid information
So why don't republicans support these things now?
what Republican is pro-slavery now
Try any of them with private prison lobbyist
why do democrats
>Your homosexual rock, jpop, and whatever pizza tower is soundtracks get mogged by HIRAM "HANK THE TANK" WILLIAMS
Why can't we pick any game to vote for? Why does it have to be a curated selection of nominations?
If we could nominate any game this wouldn't happen.
>a directly related labour of love game is better than the source material
>gets nothing & no exposure
Wtf really.
Can you say a game has a good soundtrack if the songs aren't original?
>soundtrack of the year is a copypasta from a decade ago
>labor of love to a game that instantly left the online mode to die
>most innovative award for a game that plays like something from more than a decade ago including numerous loadscreens
Steamsisters, what the frick
I know... Hi-Fi Rush has been robbed so hard. not cool.
A friendly reminder that if you think a game deserve praise and love but didn't won any award then just buy and gift it to your friends instead of acting like a manchild
I also trolled in that award lmfao, good to see other people did also
>Steam awards
And you all care because...? Do you homies really have nothing better to do then complain about some random meme awards?
post those banger tlou tracks
Most have heard the main ones already I think (and if they don’t, just play it they are better during the scenes) so here are some underrated ones. You know when Ron Swanson played the homosexual and everyone praised it and it had a sweet ending, well in the game his boyfriend kills himself and this plays.
I liked the theme that played at the very end but it was an unreleased soundtrack apparently but he made it a full thing in Part 2.
*at the very end of the game I mean, so not the credits music
Rickroll
It should be Let It Die for the 8th year straight, and not even because of the songs they contracted out to real bands so much as the tracks they composed in house
