Why does anyone think the translation will change? I know there are script changes but they haven't even gone back on Birdo still and keep her as a girl or ambiguous. The changes people noted from the trailer range from arbitrary (Bowser calling Kamek a "Lunkhead" instead of an "Airhead") to trying to specify more (Goombella saying she's a "Junior" at Goom U instead of just "student").
Given that, and the fact that Vivian was a hugely different thing between the various language translations back then, it's not too much of a stretch to imagine Nintendo is going to try to unify the translations more here and be specific on the answer.
