Watching someone with no rhythm play this game is crazy. I've always felt like I have no rhythm, but this game was an eye opener for what having no rhythm actually looks like.

Devs who explicitly tie unlocks/achievements to the easy mode never do it because there's some actually challenging aspect or quirk that is unique to that difficulty based on gameplay systems. If anything, the fact that getting an S-rank on easy is even harder is just further proof that it's out of laziness. Had they put thought into it, rankings would also be better adjusted per difficulty.

I'd like to go back in there at some point and really style the frick out of it. The postgame secret room hunt and S rank mission shit was agonizing with all the cutscenes and tutorials and little gameplay breaks.
