Too bad the former has a way too generous SRS timer where you can flop the piece for several seconds before it locks as it's too tempting to abuse it.
Tetris isn't even the best puzzle game (Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack), and the Game Boy version is the third-worst version of Tetris after the original release and the NES one by Nintendo. Tetris DS or Grand Master are the best ones.

I have a nostalgic love for GB Tetris but the DAS is painful. Tetris DX is better.
Rosy Retrospection is just modern Tetris with the nostalgic look and sound of GB Tetris but can actually be played on a real GB to boot.
