i like how you can freely use mutators to change your runs without any penalty to unlocks or progress or anything
some make things easier, some make things harder
I remember when they first announced it they used like 20 different "it's like this with this" and it was extremely offputting but actually playing it was super fun.
Don't think I ever played the full version though.
It's great. Though, it's a bit easy once you understand how everything works.
I ignored it for a long time but once I sit and played it for a while it instantly became one of my favorite roguelites.
Not sure how to feel about SoR2 being open world.
Doesn't have to be idiot. Binding of Isaac is one of the most influential roguelikes. Roguelite is a word made up by boomer cope. Get with the times grandpa.
It kind of is. I wound up playing a lot more of it than I anticipated. Some of my runs take hours but it is fun. So many custom options to zazz up runs too. Wonder what multi-player is like.
It's a really good game, there's so many funny interaction like provoking a fight inside a building and then trying to make the fight escalate by going outside or hiring thieves/hacker to help you solve things more stealthy, the only complain I would have about it is how big quests difficulty vary so much and how the rewards are somewhat useless since a lot of time you don't even use your super ability to take the hat from the mayor
Very excited for the sequel
Fun game with loads of neat interactions. I also like how different alot of the different classes can be to play and while some of the big quests are a bit of a ball ache I appreciate how they encourage you to role play as your class in game. My main issue is how fast things can escalate out of control on the latter floors, even the tiniest of screw ups (that may not even be directly caused by the player) can lead to the whole floor descending into carnage and ending your run
its gud
waitin on the sequel
Yeah I just picked it up today and it's refreshing. Love the replay value in it.

Crape and blahd are boring class
Its the roguelite with the most emergent gameplay of all, it can get a bit repetitive but that's expected from every game of the genre.
Had a blast playing with friends
I watched some gameplay and it had a guy exploding in excitement. Looked pretty cringe. Convince me to buy it anyway
>I watched some gameplay
>judging a video game by its memes
>hurr hurr can somebody influence me into action
like clockwork
It's fun.
It's alright.
