Those are for racing games. But nobody has made a decent reaching hand in 15 years, and anyone who only pushes the gas halfway down at any point is a coward
i do not think what you posted is an optimal design
now this however....
Unuseable dpad. Seriously i thought the xbox 360's was bad back in the day but the one on that thing is 100 times worse.
This is true but every controller I've tried has a terrible dpad now. The joycons only avoid this by having separate buttons. It's just crazy that dpads are so shit now.
Hori controllers (not the octa ones) have excellent dpads.
Time tested membrane dpad, 40 hour battery, symmetrical sticks but not backwards like sony.
It's true. The only thing that comes close is the virtual boy.

>best dpad in the industry 40 years running >nobody has ever used back buttons, they aren't even real buttons >you don't need analog triggers, no game ever has
Mine stopped working recently and the prices for a new one have skyrocketed to over $100 now. I just settled for an 8bitdo Ultimate and it's decent but I miss using this one.
What amazes me how the Xbox360 got away with being so awful. The worst d pad I have ever used. I thought something was fricking wrong with my console and I got a replacement I was so mad. Turned me off from planing some games honestly.
I don't get why everyone is suddenly demanding gyro when that shit only works on like 10 games. The hacky implementation through steam sucks ass since most games don't let you use gamepad+mouse so you can only realistically use it in games where you don't need to move while aiming.
The point is to make gyro a standard controller feature so that devs can implement gyro aiming without worrying about 2/3 of people not being able to use it
Xbox 360
>Analog stick above the buttons
Frick off
It's something you get used to. It feels weird going back after using it for a while.
grow up already
>only good for two genres
The only people stupid enough to think kb+m is best are the ones who play shit like fortnite
>>only good for two genres
which two genres? fps and rts?
more than two genres actually
mmo, moba, fps, crpg, rts
Keyboard + mouse is good for every game that doesn't require analog stick controls
It doesnt even have analog triggers lmao.

Good. Though its preferable to have a controller that lets you toggle that.
You don't need them. Ever.

A whole genre of games becomes unusable without anolog triggers. Instantly invalidated in the GOATED controller discussion. have a nice day.

this thing's dpad is so bad it might as well not exist. double joycons is unironically the better control method because of that.

Does it even have bottom buttons?
And it held a charge forever.
>D-pad kinda blows
>no back buttons
>no analog triggers if you need them

Controllers have finally been solved. This is perfection.
Fixed
Go shill somewhere else homosexual

You can emulate the analog sticks via gyro for atleat 2 years very decently now.

>80 hours of playtime on a single charge
How did they do it bros?
