AA batteries is honestly one of the only good things about the xbox controller, and if it wasn't for the fact that controllers are made like shit, having an easily replacable standard battery would mean it would last longer than all it's competitors and I wouldn't have to do shit like rigging up a AA pack for my ps3 controller
the thumbstick in the top left >inb4 thats the most comfortable position
The only valid opinions on this are top symmetrical and bottom symmetrical. Xbox literally can't be the most comfortable controller because on the wii u pro and playstation controllers your doing the same thing with both hands. How is your left hand so weak that when it does the same thing as your right hand you get cramps.
>no touchpad >no adaptive trigger >no gyro >AA batteries >no haptic vibration >Xbox button is not an xbox
When is someone going to make a controller where the d-pad is on the top left, left control stick on the bottom left, right control stick on the top right, and buttons on the bottom right
The dpad is the best part of the controller imo, what games do you play anon? it feels pretty good for rhythm games and i've heard good things about it from fighting game players
This thing has been my favourite general controller for over a year now. I fell in love with the NS pro controller when that came out and this is basically just an objective improvement on it that fixes some of it's few issues.
The only major complaint is the dpad. Wish it had something like the xbox controller or this
Flydigi Vader 3 Pro is the best for its price
A minor nitpick is that I don't like the way the trigger buttons curve up at the end and well, it's ever so slightly bulkier than the basic NS pro controller but that's not too bad.
If I wanted to improve on it further I would give it an extra shoulder button on each side.
I also used to be a symmetrical stick guy but after getting used to the basic NS pro controller I realized that asymmetrical is really where it's at.
>Every device has a touchscreen, the ds and switch sold a hundred million with their touchscreen. The dual shock 4 had a TouchPad that was useless and never used. >here's our idea for the ds5: another useless touchpad >also the part you wrap your hands around? Put sharp edges there
Way back when the Wii U came out, it was still sort of a gimmick, you know, you can make Sack boy jiggle by wiggling the controller or a rare level will have you tilt the wii u gamepad to adjust the camera around a small case, or on a rare case you get something like splatoon that actually uses Gyro.
Hell even now it barely exists outside of pc since feature parity is a thing (frick you microsoft).
>Xbox elite
Would double click on RT. Common problem and happened to me >Switch Pro controller
Terrible drift on both sticks. Its useless now >8bitdo ultimate
Most perfect, but RT gets stuck.
Looks like I am gonna look through some junk for my old pro controller now and see it'll last me than the other controllers I bought
I loved this layout, bought a controller for my smartphone with a layout just like it and it feels nice, wish this was attempted more in the industry instead of the usual XBOX and PS layouts we often get everywhere.
Why didn't this design take off? Having the right stick in that position is perfect for 3D games where you have to move the camera all the time which use shoulder buttons for attacking and such.
Name one flaw with the standard Xbox Series controller. You can't.
>no touchpad
>no adaptive trigger
>no gyro
>AA batteries
>no haptic vibration
>Xbox button is not an xbox
adaptive trigger is the only one of those that appeal to me but I heard they kept malfunctioning/breaking on the PS controller
AA batteries is honestly one of the only good things about the xbox controller, and if it wasn't for the fact that controllers are made like shit, having an easily replacable standard battery would mean it would last longer than all it's competitors and I wouldn't have to do shit like rigging up a AA pack for my ps3 controller

my homies.
>The only valid opinions on this are top symmetrical and bottom symmetrical.
Bottom symmetrical is literally the worst control style that exists.
Based. Loved playing shooters on this with digital triggers and the analog sticks are sex
Very based
Requires a usb dongle, has no bluetooth
Microdome d pads play and feel like shit, double click, misclick and can't be repaired
Microusb
It does have Bluetooth. Only the very early xbox one controllers didn't.
Concave sticks are a cancer.
When is someone going to make a controller where the d-pad is on the top left, left control stick on the bottom left, right control stick on the top right, and buttons on the bottom right
No gyro
D pad blows
The dpad is the best part of the controller imo, what games do you play anon? it feels pretty good for rhythm games and i've heard good things about it from fighting game players
>Inconsistent build quality
>face button are not that reliable
The face buttons will double click if you push near the edge.
I bought a Xbox One Elite Core and I love it. But if Nintendo made an "elite" controller it would mog everyone else and it isn't even close.
I have both. The Series controller has replaced the Wii U controller for me. I wish I could use it for every game.
Next I'm gonna buy the new Duke controller. I loved it then and I'm sure I'll love it now
it's a triangle. not ergonomic.
also made by the devil (Microsoft)

its not the Duelshock 4
Unironically this has the absolute best battery life of any controller 100+ hours could play for a month
real best controller
oops forgot pic

Sony are moronic

The intelligence of the average snoy.
Left stick is in the wrong place
it'd be a lot better if the d-pad wasn't hot garbage
t. wiinusoft chad
I am still pissed that this controller can't be used on a switch for literally no reason
And I haven't used my switch in like 4 years
You can with mission control
if this is the PRO controller why didnt it have fricking gyro?
because gyro sucks.
?si=EHFo4pJGLYiZrPYx
cope
The funnier thing is the sperg crab grip to use the touch pad isn't even necessary.
t. bunny hops just using Gyro
Because Microsoft hasn't touched the Xinput dlls since 2006 and they might not have anyone in the company capable of adding a gyro axis.

Hell even in Mario Kart 8 deluxe gyro controls are moronicly unresponsive which is why smart steering is even a thing.
>no gyro
>no pointer cursor
>no octagonal gates on the left stick
>no analog triggers
>no haptic feedback
>no ripple fat cap on the sticks
Hang on, you just want a Gamecube controller!
yeah a better one
Im just glad we can all agree xbox controllers are the worst
Dualshocks/sense have the worst D-Pads
The 360 controller was invented.
So no.
you mean xbox
>glossy
No.
>Wii U pro controller with Gamecube triggers and Classic Controller D-Pad
name a better dream config
Steam controller with a genesis dpad and a better battery compartment.
>Gamecube triggers
ew

Flydigi Vader 3 Pro is the best for its price
>that c-z place ment
my autism hurts
>3ms/500hz
>"ultra low latency"
>even more expensive than a first party controller
Come on, Chang.
>Xbox elite

yeah coiled thumbs how works better for button presses
Did you just have a stroke?
>Lust provoking image
>Irrelevant time wasting question
>controller has hall effect sticks
Why bother buying anything else?
Oops forgot my pic.
>wired
Good morning Gamesir
wired and hall effect sticks, might get this since it'll actually last long (hopefully)
Here's your gyro support
my autistic frankentroller
frick you nunchuck is best body with the comfy N64 style prongs
>muh arms
just rest you arms on you lap or a surface dummy
