This is the best thing that could happen to Pokemon

Now Pokemon finally has some real competition. Hopefully it will keep selling well so that Nintendo and the Pokemoncompany finally decides to invest more than 5 dollars and three toothpicks in funding into their fricking games

Shut your dumb ass up. Ive been a pokemon super autist since i am 5 years old. Ive been adoring this franchise for nearly 2 decades now which is want to finally see them produce actually good games again. Its just pathetic that even fan romhacks are better than the new main series games.

This game will never leave early access and be forgotten in a month's time. Unfortunately, Pokemon is unstoppable.

This is the latest Ericsnoy astroturf shilling campaign just as the steam deck/nick all-stars/multiversus were. Copies of successful Nintendo IPs desperately marketed as their "killer" only to fail hard while the Switch proceeds to thrive. The good guys will always win in the end no matter how much you shitpost.

Devs are shit, though. This will be abandoned at the first chance. If they had a mind for business this could be the start of a series that would only get better.

How is this supposed to be competing with pokemon ? Because it has cute monsters? To compete with pokemon it needs to be a game of the same genre, an RPG and the only copy that feels like It's trying to actually compete is roco kingdom.

I saw some videos and it looks moronic and souless, it will be forgotten in a month.

Doubtful. I highly doubt anyone that works at Gamefreak even uses a computer outside of the office, let alone even know what Steam is.

I doubt this will really affect anything in the end but I'm still going to pay attention to whatever new features the next Pokemon gen will have, if they do something that was clearly inspired by this game it's going to be funny as shit.

they aren't even in the same fricking genre, moron. You might as well have said COD is Pokemon's competition.

Let's face it, the draw of Pokemon isn't gameplay, it's the pokemons themselves. It's possible to directly compete with it despite being in a different genre, and that's exactly what Palworld is doing. Come to think of it, this gives it a better shot against Pokemon than other Pokemon clones did before, since the latter insisted on using the same mechanics.

it's a worst version of Rust with edgy anti-pokemon content, that's not a game that's meme shit for YouTubers to play once and forget about.
