>last section before the loop is the intro the gym leader theme >main melody in bars 11-20 is a more "minor-fied" variation of the main melody of the gym leader theme, highlighting the fact that trainer battles can be both both friendly and planned, or unfriendly and unplanned
No other Pokémon game does this btw
your soundchip's a cheap piece of junk. i can hear the GBA shitting itself, every crackle and pop is like an icepick to my eardrums. every warbly french horn is bamboo under my fingernails.
lemme show you what a real man's midi sounds like.
the Sinnoh trainer battle is a mess of a track. The composition is mostly decent but it's put together by duct tape i.e. it doesn't sound really good as one coherent theme.
It sounds pretty good until about 0:50, gets repetitive as hell from 1:10 to 1:26, and from 1:26 to 1:37 (just before it loops again) the music sounds so bare that it's as if the composer forgot to add another instrument for more polyphony.
Sorry but the Johto trainer theme is still the best one.

no, i'm a composer and agree with him. the dppt trainer theme is very lackluster. the gsc trainer theme is the peak of trainer themes, masuda made great use of the long loop time to cycle through different keys and emotions.

Only autists like this song. Go Ichinose is a hack.

I agree with the other anon, Black person
that's the frlg soundfont
This is the best trainer music in my opinion:
But Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald does have the best Wild Pokémon theme in the franchise
Disagree:
HGSS Johto's trainer them sound better
Mogged by Orre.
Hoenn also has the best wild pokeon battle music
i miss when battle themes actually felt like battle themes and not whatever the frick has been going on in recent games
SV's trainer theme isn't too bad. It was made by Masuda.
it's a good song but I just don't like the GBA sounds
GBA music sounds so warped to me like a toy that's been water damaged or something

Battle Subway trainer theme is the best one
