Visiting her doesn't take up an evening. You should always visit her first before committing to going into mementos or a palace. There's no need to go to her with kawakamis skill.
But the nights you're tired from palaces and Mementos don't even amount to a full month whereas Chihaya is important from the moment you meet her to the end of the game.
This, Kawakami's intermediate skills are great but the ability to visit dungeons without losing nights from the moment it's available is more of a novelty than something truly useful.
Kawakami is cute, but I couldn't pass up Makoto's fat teenage ass.
Kawakami over Makoto any day. But the real answer is neither. Takemi is the patrician choice.
Cure cancer, hunger mostly affects third worlders and poor people I dont know but cancer kills anyone randomly.
