you think incorrect things because you're an average IQ person. Ullillillia actually exhibits features of stupid people, such as narcissism, thinking he has some special ability to multiply numbers super fast etc. when he clearly does not.

Well i asked you to elaborate on why you think Ullilia is a "low iq" person, and you couldn't provide any solid examples just calling him stupid and narcissistic.

There's a debate about how long the 20th century as a political/cultural era was. I believe 2007 was the last year of the "true" 20th century, because 2008 was when the recession happened and iPhones started to become more popular, as well as Facebook ushering in the new age of ultra-corporate social media like you said. However, I don't think it was until the recession ended in mid-2009 that we completely entered a new world. Even though in retrospect 2008 was the start of a lot of the problems with the modern world, it still felt like a normal year to me. Around mid-late 2009 was when things started to feel different to me. That's also when I really started seeing more iPhones.

I disagree. 2002-2007 still felt like "19XX" years to me, and even 2008-early 2009 to a lesser extent felt 20th century. I think iPhones, social media, and the consequences of the Great Recession are what permanently changed the world for the worse.

True, but I feel like we're more focused on that stuff because we're adults that just came off of that decade. Give the kids who were born in the early 2010's another decade to grow up and you'll start seeing nostalgia for a bunch of shit you didn't even notice or care for in the decade.

I would say it started before the mid-2010s. You already started seeing the new-school era come in by mid-late 2009 with Justin Bieber, Fanboy and Chum Chum, MW2, Katy Perry, the rise of iPhones and social media, etc.

              Anonymous

That was the beginning of the end. There were still unique or interesting shows and stuff being created early-2010s, many defining cartoons came out in the year 2010 in fact.
You had fanboy and chum chum, but you also had Regular Show, MAD, and uhh, god forbid, MLP.
There's new-school, then there's complete cultural death, which I believe happened around 2015-2016.

I would say complete cultural death happened in 2013-2014. That's when the zoomer era started with trap music, Vine, shitty "ironic" dank memes instead of good-natured sincere memes, etc.

But yes, you are correct that the early 2010s wasn't all terrible yet. But the Long 20th Century was long over by then. 2009 was the last year that can squeeze in that cultural era in any way.

Majority of trannies are zoomers, actually. Twitter and TikTok told them to become a chud and their lives would improve, and they're desperate to fit in so they go with it. No, you know what they truly robbed from us? The same thing thats robbing our generations below us. The lack of original IP. I've seen so many corny "Nostalgia-bait" pictures filled with shit like Pogs, Movie posters, N64 games, old ass toys and classic brands. The corporations know that they can grief us with our nostalgia from remakes and reboots. Our fetish for the past has let the markets dust our nappies and bottlefeed us manchildren while Gen Z and Alpha get fed chicken scraps in Media. They now rely on the internet since while the big-name media focuses on rehashing the same IPs, small time indie developers and media hosts can garner the market for them.

This looks like one of David Dees's 5G Flouride Vaccine Photobashes LMAO

        >The lack of original IP.
In the 80's, the Reagan administration essentially gutted the Marketing regulations, which changed everything from commercials to cartoons (especially those). Cartoons of the 80's were specifically to sell off toys now, and commercials reflected that as well. Consumerism as childhood memories.

What you just said is absolutely a result of all that.

there's a load of Xers who do that. they nerd out over their old comic books, saturday morning cartoons, kids movies, baseball card collections, arcade video games, tabletop board games and sci-fi TV shows. they grew up, but still spent a ton of money amassing collectables and still mostly romanticize the past. only difference is their adulthood economy wasn't swallowed up multiple times from the moment they left high school so they were able to figure things out sooner than the last two generations.

wages have been stagnating since the 70s, before your parents were born. the rate of inflation has gone down in the past month before 8% for the first time in months. i know because you're a zoomer and you've never experienced a recession before that you like to think this is the end of the fucking world, but trust me, it isn't. so calm the fuck down, put the phone down so you're not watching all these tiktokkers pumping you full of doom and gloom, and relax.

                >but trust me, it isn't

home ownership permanently moving out of reach is the end of the world. 1/3 of people being sexually inactive and having no friends is the end of the world. you don't seem to realize how bad things actually *are* about to get.

the suicide epidemic that's going to sweep this country in 3-5 years will be like nothing anyone has ever seen. that's before the violence starts.

my parents were born in 1952 and 1954. the previous recession more or less irreparably damaged confidence and hope. you're talking out of your fucking ass. you didn't lose your fucking shirt either like some people did

It doesn't matter if bad people are left behind. The men who go out to war will not be the same as the men who come back from it. Weak men will either toughen up or die. Those that come back will not tolerate the same ideals and morally questionable politics and cultures that they once dealt with. Immoral people will either not be voted in in western countries or will be forcefully removed. No one wants to come home from fighting for their country to a country that is pitiful and corrupt.

Vietnam wasn't nearly large enough to have the right influence and it was also fought over poor reasons. It's easy to tell you're all children or actual blobs who wouldn't ever have to fight in the war. You'd think people would know better by now, but no, you just have the intellect of a gopher, if not less. The strongest and most masculine men are the ones fighting and dying in wars, and coming back too broken to function because all their friends are dead and they watched it happen. That leaves more weak men home alive and reproducing, creating the exact problem you gays always go on bitching about. This is exactly how we got to where we are after all the 20th century wars.

These people are literally being told that they WILL be drafted, and the important part of that for them is that the government isn't taking their make-believe gender seriously... not the fact that there will soon be a war that will necessitate a draft.

Soulful but also gay. That many boys should never be sleep in the same room. It's undignified and seeds homosexual tendencies that will complicate their future interactions.

    I don't trust that Mario 64.

There is no Press Start on the screen, nor is there a star there and Mario's gaze is focused forward, meaning for that image to be real someone would have had to turn on the N64 and immediately take a photo.

Considering the time from the splash screen to Mario's face is approximately 2.3 seconds, that is how long the photographer would have had to move from turning on/resetting the N64 and moving into the photo position.

Why did they photoshop Mario onto the TV? What are they trying to tell us?

on one hand i wouldn't like the fact that i couldn't hang out with my friends but i'd be glad they actually made something of themselves

on the other, they haven't gone anywhere with their lives yet we'd always get to game just like we have since high school

it's such a strange feeling. like i'm simultaneously selfish and selfless

ai is becoming sophisticated enough to reasonably simulate friends. vr is getting progressively better too. eventually there will be an unholy union and you'll have simulated childhood friends in a simulated childhood bedroom. future's looking bright brahs.

      I couldn't help doing that(falling asleep)
      like I chugged soda
I got good rest the night before
but right at 9PM my brain would put me in a full nelson and crush me until I went to sleep
I remember always feeling like absolute shit about that because I wanted to stay up with my friend(s)
I wasn't actually able to stay up physically to midnight until my teenager years

Nothing was "taken" from you. It's still possible to buy a Nintendo 64, a copy of Super Mario 64, and invite people over to play. You could even emulate everything if that's too much of a hassle.

Not OP but whenever I try to pull out the 64, all my friends get annoyed. All they want to play is Dota and counterstrike. I suppose "they" are my friends.

        Apparently OP and this

are fake according to some anons I can't really tell the difference tbh. I'm not a zoomer I'm just at the age where memories start becoming a bit more blurry and mixed together.
