if it's dead then it's because gays like you who need to play online matchmaking or whatever and only care about that.
rts is most fun with campaign or playing with bots or with friends.
fighting game stuff is most fun playing with friends on couch
>fighting game stuff is most fun playing with friends on couch
I either destroy other people or get destroyed, no inbetween, thinking of giving up on fighting games
this is the biggest issue with fighting games, it's too hard to match evenly skilled players, especially when the amount dwindles hard and now you only have the people who dedicated to it and unsuspecting noobies
>it's too hard to match evenly skilled players
No, it isn't. FG devs are just morons that have to make up their own shitty ranked mode every game instead of just copying Glicko.
it's still fun. playing some online ranked matchmaking whatever doesn't have the same feeling of people gathering around irl to play some shitty fighting game. it's the sort of stuff that was meant to be played in arcades with other people
its not the players but the games themselves only rewarding compgays. games want you to treat it like a job now, fun is not in the equation, its literally just not built into the game. fps have been hit the hardest.
no they just suck for casuals, you need to know every overhead, set up, frame trap to not see the same combo three times in a row while you can do nothing, even if you got a hit you will not know the combo route for that specific interaction so your combo drops and you get 4 times the damage in retaliation.
when sakurai said fighting games lost strategy he meant this, you don't have to be good to spoil the fun for people, just learn 1 combo that works with every starter and you can make beginners quit the game forever.
the average player just has no time to get familiar with the game getting comboed for the smallest mistakes and since combos make the biggest difference in skill, some noobs even filter other noobs by concentrating on getting better combos only to be left with better players and their own.
while people familiar with the genre grind situations in training mode the combo noobs trade heavy blows while learning neutral and pressure at a snail pace.
Worse thing is >10 total players online >1 community server >admin that hates you >players that hate you but play 24 hours a day and never have fun and try hard
Name any source based game.
>When the casual playlist is more competitive than the competitive one because they're too scared of losing their rank they know they can't hold so they go to shit on scrubs to feel better about themselves

CLAIM MY SOUL AND CARRY ME AWAY!!
>refuse to git gud >blame everyone but yourself for not improving
Almost 30 years and I still see morons like you complaining about losing in competitive games. You don't need to spend 12 hours a day in a game to be competent at it, holy frick.
Worst case of this idiocy I've seen was back during Smite beta when some dudes accused me of being a nolife try hard when the beta was only active for a week at the time and I had only played less than a dozen matches. It's not fricking hard to grasp the basics of a video game.
We can't even discuss RTS anymore without people crying over "asiaticclickers", let alone host lobbies like we used to not even a decade ago. Everybody here is too pussyshit for even a 3v3.
>play wow solo shuffle as BM hunter >get 3 man dived every round >die in 10 seconds in one round and get laughed at by player from other team in next round
No. All you need is an ability to learn from your own mistakes. If the game has an option to record and replay, you can't ask for more. Many good RTS are suffer from that, but most modern fighting games give you everything you need to become the best version of yourself.
I know that feel, I just don't have much to say about it.

you're essentially describing playing puzzle games, not strategy games.
>NOOOOO I DONT WAAAAANNNA TRYYYYYY
>PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE JUST LET ME WIN I CANT HAVE FUN UNLESS I WIN
Who are you quoting?
>t. Can't win against player of his own level so has to resort fighting new players
>t. NEET
>say correct thing but cry to make me look "bad"
thats how you know you're losing the argument
>play JoJo HftF
>get Perfect'd by Petshop x2
>get Perfect'd by Kakyoin x2
>give up
>play TF2 after a few years
>instantly get Headshot
>get melted by Kritz + Sricky Drmo
>give up
I'm getting too old for vidya...
Play against CPU
frogtrannies deserve only suffering
All online games suck because of this. Normal people just can't compete with players who live inside the game and even earn money for doing it
its not the players but the games themselves only rewarding compgays. games want you to treat it like a job now, fun is not in the equation, its literally just not built into the game. fps have been hit the hardest.
That's honestly just a matchmaking problem
No, matchmaking is THE problem.
If 12 year old me could have fun on css, cod4 and tf2 despite being shit, sbmm is the entire issue.
Maybe you were just more willing to tolerate getting shit on when you were 12
Nah I had tons of fun with battlebit despite my aim and reactions being dogwater nowadays.
CSS , COD and TF2 didn't forced you into ranked. MM killed the fun

Apex
the ninja girl was best and was totally down for casual anal
both require an extraordinary amount of time to get good and both games you can really only blame yourself for losing.
I always bully new players. Stop playing SF6 shitter, it's dead , there's nothing for you here.
>When the casual playlist is more competitive than the competitive one because they're too scared of losing their rank they know they can't hold so they go to shit on scrubs to feel better about themselves
To be fair, fighting games lacked per-character rankings until recent years.
Couldn't try a character like Zangief in USF4 otherwise I'd get completely bodied
>Broken arrow has a playtest
>By the second week every team is stacking high level players and using some kind of cheese strategy, usually air rushes.
if people can optimize the fun out of games, they will. no cases of that NOT happening over time.
What is with gays crying because people who like a game play it?
They're upset those people aren't throwing games so they can win. Weird shit, I know.
Why not play single player games? Or coop if you want.
>P-people who p-play games get... better at playing game?!?!? >i'm a loser and video games is all i have
get your parents to put your high score on your tombstone buddy
>implying i'm a compgay
nah, i hate them too but that doesn't stop me from telling you that OP's complaint is plaily just moronic
You're mad that the one who puts more time and practice in wins? Just practice yourself boy.
Yes, why am I matched against people like that?
Why shouldn't you be? Learn from fighting them and be one of those good players.
Because it's not fun or balanced.
because you're supposed to improve and pain makes the best teacher.
>I had a bad day
>let me now play this competitive 1v1 game
moron.
>Matchmaking
Found your problem.
Me but I shoot new players instantly on shooting games
>refuse to git gud

There's nothing wrong with the matchmaking
Everybody playing is just better than you lol
how do I get this meme but "woman with 100+ body count" and me on the floor as a horny virgin.
By opening up Paint
Always the most moronic take, if you hop on SF or Tekken as a shitter you're not going to be fighting pros you're going to be fighting other shitters.
Sounds like a fricking (You) problem. So many excuses for fighting games. Just say you don't like them.
is UZQueen a nerd? Who's shut her in there? Yuuka?
Just play with your kids like a normal adult.
