I'm going to be honest, they would need a mod that basically rebuilds Starbound from the ground up to make it good. Not even Frackin can fix all it's issues, the amount of mods you need to fix performance issues and bugs is insane, the 64 bit version has an innate memory leak by itself. The game's combat isn't built around the restricted movement either. It has it's charm and good points, but it's so heavily bogged down by the bad.

he's fine. I do think the change to make his laser go through blocks was a mistake since there's now no reason not to fight him in a huge open area. The trick where you're best off killing all the phase one eyes at the same time isn't communicated very well but I don't think it's a huge issue and it leads to more complex strategy than point and shoot so it's okay as is.
this is a good boss. It's not even particularly complex just dodge the bullets lmao.

Yep, I stopped giving a shit. What's funny to me is how many starts that have nerfed against this boss. Dodging and Shimmer both got gutted, they're coming for the carts and ports next, at that point I'm just cheating the item in if I want it. Though doing a summoner only MM run has really left a bad taste in my mouth with the class as much as I love pets. Hope the new patch gives summoner some love at the start of HM.

I beat it on legendary as a summoner after 5 tries but I spawned 100 sigils since I wasn't going to do the Black person pillars 20 times
