The RNG frontier is the most overrated shite in the entire franchise, it still would have been nice to have it in the remakes because it’s still content despite being unfun bullshit though

Reminder that Swampert/Metagross/Latios is just a jack of all trades team that generally works for every facility but you can increase your chances of winning by using more specialized teams. Blissey for example cheeses the Pike and Pyramid with Natural Cure and Softboiled.
Pyramid is easy nevertheless. The hyper potions you get are more than enough. It's Slaking who's the real king of the Pyramid.

Casuals are obviously going to be filtered by this place but it's fun to have some single player content that actually needs you to think competitively if you want to beat it as opposed to just rolling everything with your over leveled starter.
As a kid my favourite facilities were the Snake and Pyramid since they give you the most leeway when it comes to trying to beat them with a casual team. I think I got the silver snake medal. I liked the factory too since it let me use pokemon I couldn't actually get.
Speaking of the battle factory, my battle against thornton in platinum was pure kino, wonder if it’s still saved in the platinum servers somewhere as I recorded it and uploaded it

They should have improved on it instead of cutting it
I recommend playing Final Emerald. It's a light QoL hack that makes it easy to get pokemon for the Frontier, you can even pay some guys to forcibly make your pokemon level 50. It also adds the Sinnoh cross evos to the game, might make a Frontier run more interesting, there's a legacy mode without them or the phys/spec split if you're not into that.
