Chikorita is cute. Meganium is alright, but underwhelming in both design and in-game usefulness.

tbh Meganium just suffers from having a sort of redundant design in gen 2. Sunkern and Bellossom both have a similar design choice/use with their flowers. Even Skiploom is sort of like this but Jumpluff managed to escape it.
It feels like since they just came up with Sunny Day, all the grass types had to be blooming.
Considering how idiotic the Pokemon community can and how carried away their hate can be towards certain Pokemon be I'm surprised Meganium didn't get set up as a Boogeyman to blame the dexcut on.
