>Big boss doesn't have the scars of the horn in MGS4 >Shirtless Venom doesn't have the scar big boss had in peace Walker >It's obvious you are not fighting the real big boss on the original metal gear game
Anyone that was shocked by this ending didn't play the previous games
>Big Boss's body was reconstructed with Solidus' cells >Snake loses the "scar" in peace walker >No it's not obvious, Big Boss even explains it in MG2
Don't talk about shit you know nothing about
it was really obvious when dataminers proved medics voice was kiefers when ground zeroes released. in case you weren't there or you forgot, it was unanimously agreed it was a red herring because it was too fricking stupid.
>unanimously agreed it was a red herring because it was too fricking stupid. >Years later I agreed that 'V' being Vergil was a red herring because it was too fricking stupid
Turns out that Japanese stories really are just dumb scripts for 8 year olds
while I never really liked Hayter as BB I think it would have been a lot stronger if the character actually felt like naked snake. No shit that this character that looks, acts, and sounds completely different isn't the same character.
ok but it didn't do anything with this twist. Atleast show the real Big Boss waking up and then making Foxhound or something. The ending was telling you that what you just did for 60 hours was filler and the real Big Boss and now going to do the thing that you actually wanted to see.
Why are we having daily threads about this garbage dead franchise? It's been almost a decade, you MGS redditors, in the time between MGSV's release and today people have gone from being kids to having stable jobs and yet here you are, shitting up the board with the presence of these movie "games" featuring a plot that makes the average Call of Duty campaign look like Shakespeare in comparison.
Literally everyone had figured it out before the game ever launched. It was so figured out no one expected it to be the endgame twist it was so obvious.
People were calling it from the fricking OG Phantom Pain trailers before it was even revealed to be a MGS game, Ground Zeroes ending basically confirmed it afterwards. Everyone saw this coming 2 years before the game was even out. If you weren't a disgusting newbie who came here post-election you'd know that.
Does Ganker considers pachinko as videogames? Metal Gear series haven't been videogames since 2015 (unless you count Metal Gear Survive which came out at 2018 iirc)...

Ganker back then was shooting in all directions though.
The most popular theory by far was that Venom was Grey Fox.
People fixate too much on "Venom is a medic", the medic thing is just an excuse.
The point is that Venom is an avatar of the player, him being the GZ medic was just about making some faceless dude him so self-inserting was easy, like how in Skyrim you are some dude who got caught trying to cross the border.
Now i'm not saying this is too deep or anything, but I swear MGS fans in Ganker just take the story way too literally when it's obvious MGS has always been far more focused on themes than on the literal plot which is honestly nothing special.
>intentional spoilers
now that's hashtag epic

why
it's not that it was obvious, but rather that everyone hoped kojima would go with anything but that. venom is an answer to a question nobody asked.

The scar in peacewalker is a fake, he uses it to conceal a jigsaw. It disappeared after he used the jigsaw to escape
>Big Boss's body was reconstructed with Solidus' cells

uuhhhh...

This is Kojima we are talking about

It was obvious from the character creator in the hospital bed.
it was obvious from the beginning of the game, I don't know if it was meant to be a twist

it's because of the nine years line
What do you think hindsight means.
North American education is so disgusting.
Literally everyone had figured it out before the game ever launched. It was so figured out no one expected it to be the endgame twist it was so obvious.

Would've been better off as Gray Fox.
no it wasn't
Does Ganker considers pachinko as videogames? Metal Gear series haven't been videogames since 2015 (unless you count Metal Gear Survive which came out at 2018 iirc)...
>in hindsight
Were you not here when Ganker guessed it before even GZ was out, from the trailers alone?
Ganker back then was shooting in all directions though.
The most popular theory by far was that Venom was Grey Fox.

That would've made more sense than some literal who medic to be honest.

That's why it's a good twist.
