ok but it didn't do anything with this twist. Atleast show the real Big Boss waking up and then making Foxhound or something. The ending was telling you that what you just did for 60 hours was filler and the real Big Boss and now going to do the thing that you actually wanted to see.

People were calling it from the fricking OG Phantom Pain trailers before it was even revealed to be a MGS game, Ground Zeroes ending basically confirmed it afterwards. Everyone saw this coming 2 years before the game was even out. If you weren't a disgusting newbie who came here post-election you'd know that.

That would've made more sense than some literal who medic to be honest.
People fixate too much on "Venom is a medic", the medic thing is just an excuse.
The point is that Venom is an avatar of the player, him being the GZ medic was just about making some faceless dude him so self-inserting was easy, like how in Skyrim you are some dude who got caught trying to cross the border.
Now i'm not saying this is too deep or anything, but I swear MGS fans in Ganker just take the story way too literally when it's obvious MGS has always been far more focused on themes than on the literal plot which is honestly nothing special.
That's why it's a good twist.
