it's ironic because you just wander through caves now picking out surface seams, mining is for dorks
because mining long tunnels that just go left and right every couple feet was so much god damn forsaken piece of dogwater FUN
have a nice day, fricktard
KEEP GAMBLING!!!
this, but unironically.
today i AM going to get an unusual
i already got my unusuals during the crate depression.
99% of gamblers quit just before they make it big
I will never stop goombling.
so heckin ebin
Aren't Diamonds nearly useless thanks to villager slaves?
Yes, you can get guaranteed diamond tools and armor from master-level toolsmiths and armorers. Then you just enchant it with the mending book you got from a librarian and now you have indestructible diamond armor and tools.
the next update is set to ruin all of that
why
the books your librarians have are going to be determined by the biome they spawned in. unbreaking is jungle. mending is swamp.
villages don't spawn in those biomes.
enjoy tedium of having to birth your own villagers and moving them 2000 blocks via boats again
and people fricking wonder why everyone would rather stay in an old version and use mods. i wish mojang would unironically stop updating the fricking game. at least the java edition.
https://minecraft.wiki/w/Java_Edition_23w31a#Experimental
https://minecraft.wiki/w/Villager_Trade_Rebalance
>Villager Trade Rebalance is an experiment available in both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition that tweaks librarian and wandering trader trades in attempt to make them more fair.
>According to Mojang[1], librarian trades are too overpowered compared to enchanting table or searching for enchanted books. With the new rules, players have to explore villages in different biomes and unlock villager tiers instead of relying on random chance. Wandering traders had unfair prices and didn't sell many useful items. With the new changes, their prices are lowered, more trades are added, and they now also purchase items from the player.
it was controversial enough of a decision to just make it a data pack for now, but the fact that they included something desirable (rebalance wandering trader's shit loot pool) it might actually go through to a major point version.
i have to point out that i don't play minecraft i just read the patch notes for things to make people get mad about.
>players have to explore villages in different biomes
that seems to confirmed what I said
>they're going to start spawning villagers in those biomes
at the bottom
>Some enchanted book trades are exclusive to jungle and swamp villagers, which do not spawn natually(sic), unless villagers are brought to and bred in jungle and swamp biomes. Zombie Villagers that spawn in these biomes convert into the respective villager variant.
they could change this, but the problem with spawning villages in those biomes is they are too busy to have them.
best of luck all of this could be changed before the final release, but the confidence they have in this moronic job security power move they're pulling already seems very sound. at least they're making everything every other random loot pool where you could source the rarer things a little bit more balanced to compensate, except now villagers dont sell trident crossbow or fishing rod enchants so you're probably not going to bother attempting to fish for it. i think what we're looking at here is the meta for mending and unbreaking will undoubtedly just change. time to explore more ancient cities.
imo i'm glad you can actually sell shit to wandering trader now, and he'll actually have an RNG of good shit to buy instead of literal garbage, that shit didn't make any sense. you basically only ever killed the guy on sight to steal his leads.
oh another detail to point out i don't know right now if you're guaranteed to get that mending roll or not. if you are then great, doesn't bother me, but it still changes the meta. if not then gay, and it still changes the meta.
there's no way that's what's going down. they're going to start spawning villagers in those biomes. it would be impossible to be as dumb as what you described. impossible
Hoarding them like you're De Beers is still technically a use.
How are you supposed to mine for diamonds?
You walk around until you find them
>using a pickaxe on dirt
ngmi
>black guy gives up because no faustian spirit
>white guy doesn't give up
>Using pickaxes for sand and gravel
I can only pray that the Minecraft devs didn't make this moronic garbage.
>only putting one block between floors instead of two
"no"
I started a new survival world recently and I IMMEDIATELY found emerald after just a couple minutes, not very deep into a small cave on a mountain.
Then I spent a full week flattening the top of the mountain so I can build my house + farm, but I for got that different types of wood slabs (i.e birch & oak) do not stack vertically.
>mining dirt with a pickaxe
>mining 3 high tunnels
NGMI
nu-minecraft is dead
Their new ore sprites are fricking disgusting, so I'm glad they're putting some effort into stealing boomer memes.
