How's Necropolis league going, do those t17s yet?
It didn't have an endgame.
Without people to talk to about the game I didn't feel the desire to do a second character
Just feels like an offline game
Was planning to skip this league regardless but I'm definitely skipping it now that it's shown to be awful
Scarab changes are great though
It's due to diablo
Why do Americans hate Paladins so much? They always make them Black, is it related to the British?
Only Blacks are christcucks
It sucks
What did go wrong? Was thinking about getting this, but why it is considered so bad now?
They ripped off the worst ARPG in existence: Diablo 3.
Diablo is easily the second best ARPG to exist. Its gameplay polish and build diversity is just too good.
Yeah that's true for Diablo 2. Not 3.
Diablo 2 is number 1 my guy.
Diablo 2 is the worst one because it's pc only and you have to play with kb+m in front of a monitor like a loser.
You can literally play D2R with an xbox controller right now
They released Resurrected on consoles.
Diablo 3 is a lot of fun if you just want a casual hack and slash to mindlessly kill hordes of monsters in. The skills and effects are fun and satisfying, and it's still the best horde-slaying game on the market today; even PoE is worse in that regard despite being better in many different ways. As a pure ARPG, D2 is still much better than D3, but D3 has a lot of entertainment value that doesn't get enough credit.
I look forward to every d3 league because the gameplay is really good.
I quit every poe league somewhere during the first act because poe feels like shit.
I wouldn't suggest buying it but I think it's one of the two best arpgs to play and likely the best to play as a beginner
It's very enjoyable but it just needs some time in the oven. If they waited another year before releasing it would've done far better but they were afraid of Poe 2 so they launched prematurely only to then find out poe2 got pushed back a lot
Easily 70h of fun for $35 on one character. It was an enjoyable ride but I have no need to keep sitting in it. I will try some other classes and builds when I have some downtime from other things or when my buddy gets more time to play from taking care of his newborn.
it did, because diablo 4 stole all of its mechanics this season and last epoch has nothing now but a reddit
Fun game. Only hated by poe addicts who hate the genre and are too hooked to poe to ever give other games a shot. Wouldn't be surprised if they can't go to any other game that doesn't involve heavy grinding and mtx either.
Pooheads unironically expected it to have 10 years of endgame systems to interact with despite being a new game.
It's four/five years old. It doesn't need all of Poe's bloat just like one or two big baddies to build towards
People tend to forget that poe didn't even get its 4th act until 2 years after 1.0 came out.
Most vocal freaks raging about any other arpg came mostly very late to the game. They aren't even fans of the genre.
the multiverse monument cuts right into the ending and we don't get a conclusion as to how the story is suppose to end. I thought doing the lvl 90 stuff would give me a resolution but its just lackluster. great gameplay though, probably has the best feel since Diablo 2
Palworld then Helldivers2 sucked up all the oxygen in the room because games have become a fotm centric medium thanks to social media. The game is good and it looks like it will get better. Its visuals and fanfic tier story probably haven't helped it gain traction outside those already interested in the genre.
Is Diablo IV good yet fellas?
It will become good next season, in one month.
Just wait until it implements the Last Epoch systems :^)
i played it, had fun, and then played something else
The problem is that they had no idea what they were doing. It's honestly impressive that it turned out as good as it did, but there is so much that is bad about it, and the story and setting are probably the worst of the genre.
I swear it feels like they were gonna go for a "You were the Eternal Emperor all along" angle especially after meeting all the sub-bosses of the Emperor as normal Humans after that Chapter. At least that's how I took it, not sure what they're thinking with the story now that this random snake woman is channeling DA VOID.
Honestly I just like customizing my character's appearance in Diablo 4. I know that should be low priority but I just like to feel a little extra connection to my character that I don't get playing Last Epoch and Path of Exile.
Not saying Diablo 4 is the best but looks like it might be getting better.
Idk. I really wanted to like it, I guess I just got bored.
got overlevelled and started steamrolling too quickly. the monolith stuff should be lvl 80+
So thoughts on their response to the gold exploit merchant bros? We'll get mirrored item dupes (legit) now which is neat.
