I always lose interest in sa right when you unlock the 2nd city right after that shootout with i think sweet getting shot? It like starting back from square 1 a 2nd time sucks dick let alone a 3rd time when you unlock the 3rd city.
Also gang turf sucks absolute wiener
Badlands is the low point of the story and has the most tedious string of missions. You want to just get it over with, so you want to cut corners, short cuts driving, frick you, it's a mountain, you lose my vehicle and I have to run and exhaust CJ three times before finding a road. terrible section.
the combine mission vs farmers with shotguns, going up a mountain to shoot a guy and take a picture, the mandatory 2? 3? catalina missions, the race against jackie chan twice. it's a chore. and then every story mission continues to be a chore. even if they're unique they're not fun. i love los santos and those missions were great
Yeah i can barely even remember how the 2nd half of sa even goes, i havent managed to finish sa once since i was like 11. I tried to replay it every few years since it is a fun game but Usually drop it just a few missions when los santos is finished or even a tad before

I remember forced RC plane missions even though I haven't played that part since the game released, it pissed me off so much that I still remember to this day but beyond that I remember nothing.
Yeah it's extremely deflating, it was just getting interesting & now I have to drive an eternity into some country side to kill some guy. Every single time I thought about going back to playing it I felt an emptiness creeping over me. >Also gang turf sucks absolute wiener
Everything related to this sucks, the tagging, the fact territory gets attacked randomly, it's a chore.
>tried to play SA & couldn't go on after going to the country side
I finished just recently and yeah I understand why some people can't do that part, is probably the slowest one in the game, besides if you don't have enough money on it, you basically have to drive a frickton just to save. Besides the LS chapter before you move is indeed one of the best parts of the game.
I know the game is subpar but it's my favorite game ever, I just wanna meet someone in real life that also loves this game as much as I do so we can talk about our memories. That's when I'll know I finally met my soulmate.
my bf and I acknowledge it as the best gta game and from time to time when he gets drunk we will put on hall and oates stuff or other 80s songs and talk about the fun things we used to do while playan' vice city
mad jealous tbh, I wish you guys the best, cherish this shit!!
>cherish this shit!!
he is the love of my life, I hope to spend another 5 years with him, my entire life if god is willing. It's nice to be with another person who grew up mostly the same as me, has similar interests, and loves the same vidya I do

I loved taking turns with my neighbor on who could survive the longest rampage and dress like a Cuban and frick around with the Haitians. I've beaten the game about 4 times but haven't touched it in years. I think I love GTA IV more now, though. I was so in love with the atmosphere of the city and how realistic I thought that game was at the time. Discovering new alleys and hidden weapons and items. GTAV just wasn't the same. I'm sure everyone who worked on the older GTAs are all gone now.
Gta4 was the first real next gen hd game i ever played and that was after shit like oblivion which could have easily been fitted down to a ps2. Even fricking with the gta4 physics now is a lot of fun, and i dont care what anyone says the driving is still more realistic than gta5. yes cars do start to spin out if you turn at high speed. Maybe they overdid it a tad but i take fun wacky anything goes driving in a game with over the tops physics instead of basic b***h mario kart feeling cars
Vc was the one 3d gta that just completely skipped by me, should i play it? I was thinking of just replaying 5 a few days ago but than remembered how long that game is so still debating
absolutely just for the soundtrack. story and side content is just as good as any other game but the gameplay is still the GTA:3 janky controls so expect to get mowed down and your car exploded in an instant
it wasn't until replaying them recently that I realized how fricking incoherent and disconnected the plots are in every GTA, no one is introduced properly and they come and go randomly without any explanation, rhyme or reason
Usually the plot is just do enough missions for a guy until he introduces you to another guy which you do missions for him until he introduces you to some guy. By the end of sa your doing busy work for a literal who hippie hillbilly guy who has nothing to do with the bad boys black youth in the 90s gang culture setting.
what is your favourite side mission to do
for me I think the races are the best in the series since there’s not really an upset car but the export and taxi were fun too
Gta3 ambulance was basically a less charismatic crazy taxi which is still good. My real favorite rockstar side thing isn’t from a gta but bully kart racing
I beat 3 & VC again a while ago & tried to play SA & couldn't go on after going to the country side. VC remains the best game in the series imo.
The SA map is too big and confusing. Nothing beats 3 and VC for easy map memorization and navigation.
I didn't consciously realize until you said it but this is probably the biggest reason I lost interest in playing SA.

Except for Shoreside Vale. That city still fricks with me to this day

for me it’s flying around in the sparrow till Madhouse or Peace Sells comes on the radio
>plays wave 103 in your path
checkmate
Madhouse, Peace Sells or Automatic
NO WAY TO CONTROL IT
IT’S TOTALLY AUTOMATIC
>They removed it from Steam and replaced it with GTA Remake version
FRICK YOU STEAM
>FRICK YOU STEAM
I'm not a steamdrone, but are you fricking moronic? You should target your anger towards Take Two.
Didn't they put it back tho?
no lol, they removed the remakes but then silently put them back up without any changes and got away with it
>not buying all of the old gtas years ago when they were on sale for like a dollar each
ya dun goofed
my old acc got permabanned
How do you not own the games already?
>yuo will never own tommys hawaiian shirt
I do

i don't talk to people who browseGanker, even if they like cats
post your favorite song from the game anon

I've driven cars with quicker handling than gta IV's physics have
I played it recently and I'm getting absolutely shredded by guys with automatics even with body armor
I don't remember the game being this hard wtf
turn on the 30fps lock for hard gunfights and that one boating mission, 60+fps makes them way harder
same problem with GTA3. I remember having to hop a fence and infiltrate the junkyard to save Lance Vance

I love GTAVC bros, some of the best gaming imo

The first few hours are fun. I don't know if you'll play through it though, it can be really frustrating. PS2 was my favorite version
idk, it's only the best GTA game so you'll have to decide.
it wasn't until replaying them recently that I realized how fricking incoherent and disconnected the plots are in every GTA, no one is introduced properly and they come and go randomly without any explanation, rhyme or reason
I will need evidence

Police car vigilante missions. Not with the tank though that is fricking cheating

what about cop car or taxi
The phone call assassinations & boat races.
