because the analog sticks are literal shit and the bumpers/triggers are just buttons
it's a dogshit PlayStation 2 controller but with xbox buttons for pc
What? No, you're wrong. The F310 has analog triggers. At least in x-input mode anyway. I don't remember if it has it in direct input mode. I don't have mine with me right now so I can't check
the analog sticks are ass and inaccurate, and the deadzones are too big.
and the shoulder triggers require way too much pressure to press.
other than that it's my preferred controller for playing 2d games
I would use my series x controller but the dpad on that is so loudly clicky that I can't stand it
clicky dpads don't need to be that loud. the DS had a clicky dpad and it was practically silent

>but the dpad on that is so loudly clicky that I can't stand it
What the frick was Microshit thinking when making that controller with that loud ass dpad seriously
it's a shame because I usually like clicky dpads more than the standard mushy ones, cause there's a more definite tactile feel so you know exactly when it's pressed.
and I've always liked the circle shaped dpads more than the + shaped ones that Nintendo and others use.
it would be the perfect dpad for me if it wasn't so fricking loud
Xyba buttons are too stiff they hurt to press after a short time
Xyba buttons have a ridge that hurts your fingers (big circle)
The shorler buttons are stuff as hell it's almost as if you use an expander hurt so much
The wire makes that it keeps catching on things but at least you don't need to charge it
>Xyba buttons are too stiff they hurt to press after a short time
this. been using it a lot lately and i think it gave me gamer thumb. my right thumb is always fricking aching since i started using it more and i don't know what to do
how will that help?
i know the more obvious solution for fixing the pain is taking a break but cmon
i gotta gaem...
i assume xbox or ps4/5 controllers don't have this issue right
i wish i never got this controller
it works. i bought one for REmaster in 2015, used it for 3 games(DD:DA, RE1, Elden Ring) without any issues. but i also hate controllers and only use them if i absolutely have to.
I liked it when I had one that still worked. I had multiple Logitech F310's. My main problem was that the USB cable would always shit the bed. I think the d-pad is underrated, but that is just me. But I feel like Logitech needs to do a refresh on the F310, with a detachable USB cable, wireless bluetooth, gyroscope and perhaps rumble. It's getting pretty up there in age.

>do you have arthritis or something
maybe, idk, i know i got family history for it though
but i don't think it's that, i don't feel pain in any other joints besides at the base of my thumb
but sometimes i use it to play games that involve a lot of spamming, maybe it's just the spamming and not the controller lol
It does hurt with how much you roll in eldenbring pressing b with the right side of your thumb hurst because buttons are stuff and the corner of the button is sharp so it cuts like a knife
had one back in the '10s, it was serviceable and a very cheap option for the time. definitely not the worst controller I have ever used but you can definitely feel the cheapness.
the sticks are a bit too loose and the shoulder buttons are way too stiff. it's also not super reliable, mine started drifting after a couple of years of light use. basically, you get what you pay for; not the worst but only worth it if you can't afford better.
>you know the only difference between those controllers is that one has a cable? >sticks, springs, board... everything is identical.
The F710 also has rumble , which the 310 does not. I have never owned a 710, but I always heard that it uses Logitechs own proprietary wireless connection, which is not bluetooth compatible. I heard that the F710 has problems staying connected. I don't know how true that is, or how reliable they are. The F310 is as basic as it gets for a xinput gamepad.
The rumble on F710 has the strange benefit of making the controller feel hefty. That is actually a good thing because controllers these days feel as if they would break in half like a straw.
I bought one.
The buttons are stiff and unsatisfying to press.
The buttons on my newly bought RG35XX+ handheld felt good to use so that's my baseline and that controller was nowhere near it.
I wouldn't even give this to my worst enemy
>it sank
wrong controller
why?

whoopty doo
OP posted an F310 pic you fricking dumbass, he wasn't asking other logitech controllers
>>it sank
You are thinking of the f710.
Did it survive the implosion? What an advertisement that would be lol
Logitech is so fricking unreliable shit that it will literally kill you if your life is on the line
pressure issues

it's fine for the price, but you'll probably want to open it up and replace the springs for the bumpers, they're far too strong to comfortably press
that's really enjoyable thing to do and doesn't add to the cost at all

any alternatives on the same price range?
8bitdo Ultimate C Wired version is 20 bucks
do you have arthritis or something
I've used this controller for 15+ hours straight at times and felt no pain from pressing the face buttons
meant to reply to

never used it, but it is in the same price range
R2, L2, R3, L3, and D-pad are ass

F910 fricking WHEN???
I bought one.
The buttons are stiff and unsatisfying to press.
The buttons on my newly bought RG35XX+ handheld felt good to use so that's my baseline and that controller was nowhere near it.
It's all I use. Works great.
