Console wars were serious business. People shitting on each other for console choice was absurdly commonplace, especially since gaming wasn't mainstream yet.. You had to be there.
S Tier: Mostly agree, except for PS4. Good console, but by this gen, most exclusives were also being postponed-released on PC, and hardware wise, it's just a PC-lite, nothing special. Also, having to pay for PSN. Put it in A. Also, I'm shaky about 360, but being the biggest launching point for online gaming outside of PC, I guess it deserves it.

Fantastic console during AND after it's lifespan. Also, PS5 does not deserve that spot. It's ugly, paid online play, no interesting gimmicks, bad UI, and complete lack of unique exclusives. I'd put PS5 in B or C.
B-Tier: Pretty spot on, honestly. Don't know shit about the turbografx or 2600 though.
C-Tier, D-Tier, F-Tier: Can't say I disagree with any of this, I guess some could be moved slightly up or down, but yeah, pretty accurate.
Further homebrew development could push PS3 to S, I agree right now it simply can't be an S because of how janky the overall homebrew experience is compared to Wii which, dare I say it, just werks.
Is this "If you only owned one console per generation, how good was it in a vacuum?" or "If you owned every console, how likely were you to turn that on compared to other consoles?"
In the first case, the "C-tier" Xbox One is actually pretty good, even better than the "S-tier" Switch.
In the second case, the Xbox One was a straight-up worse version than the PS4... so you never turned that on. But then why is Xbox 360 S-tier, most of its library was also third-parties available everywhere. And why is the Wii U C-tier, there were a ton of great exclusives on that thing.

Gamecube fricking sucked. I got mine for Christmas 02 and while I initially had fun with smash and etc. Good releases were too few and far between.
