I genuinely love the dialogue, presentation and atmosphere of the game
but goddamn the menus aren't as good as I want them to be.
playing it on ATB mode is fricking unplayable as frick because of how you scroll through the menus. so I just stuck to the wait-mode.
the hunt bosses are a major highlight I love that shit.
I liked it a lot, one of my favorite FFs. The setting, art direction, voice acting, and even mechanics were all cool. The plot felt a little undercooked in the second half but it still had a lot of strong writing throughout. I especially liked gambits and think they should've become the industry standard for AI-controlled partners in games.
Nothing game. The gameplay is nothing, the world is nothing, the story is nothing for 99% of the game, the characters barely speak to each other or have a reason to be there.
The Judges are neat and in particular the voice mixing with their helmets on.
Game sucks though, like any Final Fantasy.

Only 11 is good but even then good luck with your 2003 time machine

I actually like the MMO aspect and the combat is great aside from minor balance issues and blows the doors off the other games
Peak comfy
I love this game so much I'm going to use the gambit system on my indie.
Easily my favorite FF even more than FFT.
Ashe butt
Kino butts
Worst FF post-IX. Not even XVI is that bad.
filtered
Yeah, believe it or not I do in fact often get filtered by shit gameplay.
its one of my favorite final fantasy games despite its flaws, ivalice is just too cool.
A terrible game.
Kino story
I played it as a wee boy and didn't like how your equipped armor/weapons didn't show up on your character and thought vaans armor was gay
It took 2 hours to get through the Sand Sea. Just 2 hours of holding down forward and autoattacking sand Black folk.
The game was so boring they re-released it with a speed up button because it was so boring without it.
best FF
Textbook definition of mediocre across the board

one of the best games in the series
I made my favorite doujinshi possible.
ahead of it's time
A game that had potential but ended up as completely bland dogshit and the framework for Xenoblade Chronicle's completely bland dogshit gameplay1
>Thoughts on FFXII?
It's good and also the best voice acted FF game that isn't online
Best game of the series. Not enough viera.
Best ff setting.

Unironically the peak of the series.
Interesting how the two kids were added later because the execs were worried that teenagers wouldn't relate to the story.
